Fantastic little spot if you are close and want someGood quality sushi!The staff were super friendly! We went in with our toddler for lunch, and they immediately wanted to accommodate for him. They offered a high chair or a booster seat, they asked if he needed a menu, or even a kids drink for him.We started off ordering some appetizers.We ordered the garlic edamame and the tempura.They outdid themselves with both!Whatever garlic/oil mixture they concocted was absolutely delicious! I could have eaten that all day.On the menu the tempera comes with 2 shrimp and 4 veggies. They went out of their way and gave us 3 shrimp and 6 veggies, and they were delicious! We ended up ordering 3 different types of sushi. We ordered the Avocado roll, Tuna roll, and a Geisha roll. The presentation was fantastic! All three rolls came on the same board and my wife and I shared our food. There were some garnishments on the platter. I.e: radish, wasabi, and an orchid. It all looked lovely. We were constantly checked in on by our server. Such a solid experience.Then to top it off, after we were all stuffed and couldn't eat a bite more, the manager brings us two plates with mochi ice cream on them.Mind you; we did not order this, but it was such a kind gesture, and of course we ate it!I can't stress enough on how fun this place is. Great ambiance and service. Potstickers were great. We ordered a number of rolls, biggest problem was the wooden boards the rolls come out on inherently cause the rice to stick... so when you go to grab a larger roll (which several of them are... they rip apart). Flavors of the rolls are mild, teriyaki chicken in one of the rolls was overcooked and tasted rubbery. Couldn't taste the scallops in the scallop roll. Some of the rolls were cut awkwardly thick. Probably wouldn't return; pricing isn't particularly cheap but overpriced for what it is

I went here with some friends on Friday and there weren't that many people but it got busy pretty fast. By the time our food came the place was filling up. It's a cute little spot that's nearby for me. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi but it's not the worst either. I've had better on this side of town but I was happy to try it out. Would be nice if they had happy hour specials and a drink menu. Although, when I asked the server she did say a drink menu is coming. I ordered the monkey brains and that was delicious. Then I ordered the baked lobster tail roll which was just ok. It's not lobster it's langostino. I think it would've been better fried so I probably should've gotten the dynamite lobster roll. My friend got the sunset roll and it was delicious and her husband got the dragon roll and that was delicious too. I'd go back because I'd like to try the ramen, sashimi and the udon noodle stir fry and a different type of sushi roll. Not a bad sushi spot for the west side.

My son and I both have an affinity for sushi, and he has expressed a desire to take me to Sushi Love so I can try their food. I can now understand why because everything was delightful! We were greeted and sat right away and the staff was very friendly. To begin our meal, we decided to share the spicy garlic edamame. Additionally, my son opted for a bowl of miso soup. For our dinner my son chose the Dragon roll and the Geisha roll and I decided on the Baja roll. It was all delicious!The restaurant is super cute however, it is on the smaller side. They do offer an outdoor patio and have a sushi bar so that does offer up additional seating. The vibe was super inviting and we will definitely be back!

I do love this restaurant! We had our order delivered and we had some bad experiences with some other places ordering sushi delivery, but not Sushi Love, we have ordered a few times now and the sushi nigiri is fresh! We had the yellow tail and the yellow tail belly and Tuna nigiri plus the spicy California roll and spicy tuna roll, along with the edamame. It was delicious! I'm sorry that I didn't remember to take a picture before I started to eat it, but there's only a few missing in my picture.

Dang! Another sushi spot that is a hidden gem. I have been here twice now and have had an amazing experience each time. Service is prompt and they are incredibly helpful. They give recommendations based on the type of fish/items that you like. I've gotten the Baja roll each time because it is so light, fresh, and unique. The Japanese pesto is unlike anything I have ever tried. The crispy rice is one of the best I have ever had. There is actually enough fish to rice ratio. Their baked rolls are absolutely delicious.The selection and types of rolls is almost overwhelming but it means there is something from every type of sushi lover! I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

Love Sushi LoveWhile on a recent visit to the Phoenix area, Yelp reviews led us to try Sushi Love in Avondale for lunch. The reviews were on the mark, and we are glad we tried this unexpected gem.Sushi Love is located in a strip mall, but its food, service, and interior rise above the humble exterior. The decor is a pleasant nod to Japanese style and the seating is ample and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their service is attentive and prompt.The menu is inspired, featuring a creative selection of rolls, sushi, nigiri, and sashimi. As we considered the menu, we observed other tables receiving their orders, each dish plated and presented with breathtaking artistry.We started with the miso soup. This was perhaps the best miso soup we ever had. It was rich with a nice balance of cut vegetables.My wife ordered the California Roll with Six Pieces. The generous portions surprised us, and she enjoyed it thoroughly. I ordered the Sashimi Deluxe (12 pieces). This dish features four chef-selected fish. The fresh delicious fish pieces did not disappoint.As a shared side dish, we ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice. With its abundant vegetables, unique flavor, and wonderful mouth feel, it too was perhaps the best we ever had.I heartily recommend Sushi Love. We love this little gem and are sure you will love it too.
