In my opinion it's a little pricey unless you're going during their lunch special, in which case it's definitely worth it! The rolls themselves were very good. Love their coconut shrimp roll, never been anywhere that has something similar. The service is good, they're very attentive. Bonus is that it's always cool inside.

We are here yea we did.... I don't leave bad reviews... so LETS TALK ABOUT THE GOODS..... We Love Garlic Edamamei!! It's the perfect appetizer I wish every restaurant including Steak Houses would just have it on the menu. It's a no brainer for me when I arrive at a sushi spot.What I love most about edamame is seeing all the different ways a chief can prepare it! And this guys did something new and interesting to there's , they added cinnamon! Yes who would have thought! When I was eating it it was really good had that slat sweet taste and I could figure out if it was me or not , so I had to ask the chief and to my surprise! Never under estimate the power of good edamame!!!

This is just a public service message that your should NOT get the "Ring of Fire" specialty roll. My goodness what a trainwreck of a creation that really took the name to heart. The photo on the website is nothing like what was served with huge globs of sauce on top. It was so gross. I have to pick off the entire top plus the fried serrano inside once I realized this was just way too much combined spicy things. I should have known better / known what I was getting into but I've never experienced something this out of whack. I wish they had photos on their hard copy menus as I've seen elsewhere...I guess I should have gone to the website but even then I wouldnt have been prepared for this particular item.The only hot tea they have is green tea, which was a bummer since I wanted hot uncaffeinated tea for the evening. Most places have jasmine.I'm a little bummed because I know see they have a pretty promising roll of the month that has been my favorite at other places:It's Complicated Roll photoIt's Complicated Roll$18.00Our February Roll the Month! Spicy scallop, cajun grilled shrimp, cucumber inside, with tuna, thin lemon slice, avocado, fried onions, ponzu, yuzu kosho aioliSomething about a thin slice of lemon on a roll that makes it amazing. Came here for sushi a while ago and it was okay! The waitress was really sweet but the rolls, edamame, and soup took a long time to get out to the table. It wasn't too busy at all, only a few people, so I was surprised. My issue with the rolls is that there is a lot of filling and they're rather large and thinly cut, causing stuff to fall out and be difficult to eat in one bite. Just needs to be finessed. Other than that, there was plenty of parking, the restaurant was clean outside and inside.

A girlfriend and I came here right at opening on a weekday and luckily we were able to avoid any kind of crowd or wait time. I was overall really pleased and happy with the sushi rolls (also the perfect ratio of rice to fish) and presentation was BOMB! My favorite was the shrimp shumai and the creamy sauce it was drizzled with along with some soy sauce. Yummm!!! We also had the sweetest waitress who checked on us often and filled our drinks. Definitely looking forward to returning for date night!

Came for the happy hour and the rolls didn't disappoint. Fish was fresh, rolls didn't fall apart and were perfect for sharing. We grabbed a couple rolls on the happy hour menu and a bento box. Service was ok we waited for 5 mins once we were seated before our waitress noticed us. Rolls came out fast and were tasty. There's seating inside and outside and they got a couple of TVs to watch some sports. Definitely a good sushi spot if your in the area.

Amazing sushi located in the Poway area! There is plenty of parking as there is a pretty big parking lot shared with other stores. I got the tasmanian devil, which came with grilled shrimp, crab, salmon, cilantro, and lemon. This roll was very refreshing and delicious!I also got the tsunami role which came with grilled shrimp, avocado, krab, asparagus, cucumber layered with cajun seared albacore, with garlic, serrano chili, cilantro. All I can say is, it was yummy!Also got a miso soup and a seaweed salad. Seaweed salad was very interesting. It came with two different types of seaweed and cucumber, but I liked it. It was different, but delicious!I also like the ambience, not too loud for a pretty busy place. The customer service was On Point. Our waitress was very attentive, and answered all of our questions. I am definitely coming back here for more.

Finally got to try this sushi joint. Overall my family enjoyed all the different rolls they offer here. Sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. The service was good and timely. The kids menu was a bit weak. My daughter got 4 dumplings with a big blob of rice. It will be great if they add miso soup or something that might make the kids meal seem a bit more complete.
