We had a bit of a wait to get sat, and ended up getting a table in the patio. The weather was okay for it but unfortunately it was right around when the sun starts to set and the sun was hitting us full on. I even got a little bit of a sunburn on the back of my neck from it. But all that aside, the food here was excellent! We tried a few of the rolls and they were all packed with flavor. We also had the garlic edamame and I swear I have been craving them again since. (Definitely recommend). My companion also ordered some nigiri sushi and we were surprised at the size of the slices of fish on those. They do not sell you short! We almost had to cut them in two they were so well served. Service could have been a little more attentive as we had to wait a bit to place a second order and to get our check, but we were not in a hurry and as we had to wait for a table we understood they were pretty busy. But all in all 4.5/5 I would say. I am interested in trying out some of their other sushi roll options as they all seem very interesting. We will see when we come back!

I don't hate it. But I don't love it. This place is about as solid as a 3 star restaurant can get. We sat outside in the patio on a Monday night. Hardly anyone was here at 630pm which was great. Patio was dog friendly too. There are half off specials that runs pretty late. Full price is about 25 bucks so half off was pretty good. There's about 30 items to select from. Some pretty good choices so the selection was legit. On the other pages there are other chef specials, bento boxes, appetizers and more. I went with the Tornado 151 chef special and two sushi rolls - Sensual Pleasure and Star Wars roll. I personally liked the Star Wars roll. It had Spicy Tuna, Cream Cheese, Avocado, Jalapeño, Gobo, Deep Fried Sesame Seed w/ Spicy Mayo, Hot Sauce, and Eel Sauce. It seemed really different than the others and it didn't disappoint. The Sensual Pleasure was okay. It has... Spicy Scallop, Imitation Crab, Cucumber, Spicy Tuna w/ Dressing and Spicy Mayo Sauce. The Tornado was the most different. It was hot in some areas and cold in others. I don't think that was on purpose. Service was pretty quick. Had multiple people checking in on us. You order by filling out a piece of paper with what you want and then you hand it to the wait staff. As soon as we were done w a plate, someone was there to take it away. We received our check almost immediately after we took our last bite. For a Monday night it wasn't bad. Didn't break the bank. About 50 bucks for three items. It's next to a Costco gasoline. Getting in and out can be difficult depending on the time of day.

Decent local sushi spot! The garlic edamame was drenched in garlic and sauce, which I loved (minus the soup of sauce leftover) However the restaurant was extremely cold, even on a chilly night it was actually warmer outside! Rose Roll - tuna mania! The waitress made me chuckle by saying the picture for it was not accurate and that I would be getting "catfished" if I ordered it because there wasn't any mango. Nonetheless it was tasty! Overall it can be a hard spot to get into due to the Costco gas line but if you are hungry after going there it's a convenient spot!

I have been to Sushi Kuchi's other locations and decided to try this one since it's so close to my house. Walked right in and the service here was amazing. Can't rave how good the service was. Not only was the service awesome BUT the quality of the food was great. The hand roll we got was so tasty and fresh. The rolls we had were good size and fresh. The Kama was amazing. The inside is super clean and spacious. There was enough room where you weren't crammed next to the table beside you. Come early as this place gets packed and for good reasons. The price of the food was decent especially since the rolls were so big and fresh.

Service was the worst I've received a guy seated us took our order and a different woman appeared, our drinks never came up until we all finished our sushi rolls and we ordered miso soup which also never came. Very poor service and I asked for two extra miso soup due to never receiving them and they still had the audacity to charge for two extra miso soups. I had a party of 6 and they charge for gratuity due to having more than 4 people in my party. So I wish I had the option of not leaving any tip due the poor service. Also, the waiter woman gave me attitude and was rude after I told her about not having our drinks and miso soup I literally had to tell her twice!!! Paid $228 and food was mediocre... aside from that they gave us a free dessert for my mother in laws birthday.

VEGAS roll is the best roll to get here! It's a baked california roll with eel sauce! Soo tasty! Also, they have reasonable prices as all specialty rolls are always 50% off! The overall ambiance needs some updating but food makes up for it!!

Came after a Wave game and ordered 2 rolls, 1 hand roll, and 1 cold sake. Rolls were good, but never got the sake. When we notified them, they fixed it but added a hot green tea. We never ordered that. Asked for them to fix it again. When they did, they took off the hand roll which was a really nice gesture of them. Tiger roll was flavorful. Lots of sauce and pretty good. Rainbow roll was good but a lot of imitation crab. Spicy salmon had some lingering heat, different than wasabi heat. Aside from the bill discrepancy, service was quick. Outdoor seating was great. Lots of space between tables and there were plenty of servers circulating if we needed anything. Would come back again when that sushi craving hits.

In town for the weekend and this place came highly recommended by a friend of the family. After a lot of laughs about the name of the place, we decided to give it a shot! The service was fast and efficient, the ambience was subtle, and the food was great! I was very happy to see the "protein roll" as this is my FAVORITE sushi roll and rarely on menus. Delicious!

TL; DR: I did not like the "california roll crab salad mix" base to most rolls because of the mayo or sauce used. If curious order a small plain California roll 1st to determine if you like the mix before ordering original or specialty rolls. Stick to sashimi, bento boxes, Maki cut rolls.I had been craving Sushi for weeks & we were in the area so we decided to try Sushi Kuchi on August 6, 2024. The menu has a nice variety of items (with corresponding pictures) from variety of sushi types, appetizers, salad, Ramen, Bento boxes with chicken or beef, Tempura, wine/soft drinks, dessert. We spent a-lot of money to order several rolls & pieces so we'd have a well rounded sampling of items as 1st time customers. Like $$$ amount of money even with 6 of 9 items being 40% off items. A case of eyes being bigger than the stomach, lol. They give you a sheet with all menu items listed (with prices); check the ones you want and give it to the server. The 50% off applies to dine in orders & 40% off to-go orders for selected items.I hate to say it, but I was extremely disappointed in most of my picks, which were highly favored in Yelp reviews: Star Wars, Rainbow, Vegas, Dynamite & Baked Scallop rolls . Due to food allergies I requested no avocado on any items. The 5 items with a California roll (imitation krab salad mix) base seemed like they had extra mayo or some unidentifiable sauce in them which had a kind of (yuck) sour/sweet taste to it. I think whatever that binder is is the source of my discontent. Was this done to compensate for no avocado? Or is this how it usually tastes? IDK. I don't recall tasting cucumber, but I'm sure it was there. The Scallop roll was just a mound of CA roll base (no seaweed rolls) with small scallops plopped atop with cheese/mayo and broiled. There were very few scallops & they had to be located in the mound. The Philadelphia roll tasted like the salmon was smoked, which I'm not used to from other restaurants, but it was "ok." The yellowtail sushi and tuna roll were good, likely because no california roll mix was involved. The fried calamari was good, but the presentation was new to me. It appeared to be a calamari patty coated in breading, fried, then cut into strips, versus smaller round shape fried calamari with the tentacles that one may usually receive. They give a great amount of ginger, wasabi, aoy sauce & chop sticks for the order. Some rolls were in the styrofoam containers while others were in clear plastic containers. I highly doubt I'll return here, BUT if I did I will likely stick to Nigiri, Sashimi or Maki. Perhaps some of the non-sushi items as well. If anyone knows what makes up their California mix base please let me know
