Been here a handful of times now. We love the place for what it is. There is a variety of picks to try off the menu. No one will be left hungry, even if you don't like sushi. The food is delicious overall. Just like any other place, certain things are tastier than others. I have yet to find a special roll I do not like. The Mexican and Lava roll are on top of my list. Their appetizers, soups, salads can't be missed either. Every time we've been here we seem to get a different server. For the most part the service is gentle, kind, and amazing. Some of the servers do need more training in hospitality, but not to the extent of leaving a bad taste in my mouth.Great place! And I hope to be back some more.

Ambiance was the best part of this experienceService was ok We did AYCE option but still ordered some specialty items off them menu that were not apart of the AYCE. The sashimi and hamachi we ordered was not cold and did not taste fresh which complexly threw off my experience. Anytime you're eating fish (especially raw) you definitely don't want to bite into a warm piece of sashimi. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I had some hope for this place considering the great menu photos and decent reviews across platforms but it fell flat. Walking in, you can tell that the decor is great and the young person seating us was quick to do so. The booth bench seat had dried rice stuck to it. We were greeted by our server and I had to request a non all-you-can-eat menu which isn't uncommon. The "spicy" edamame was not spicy unless you find black pepper to be too much. It took a few times of our server passing by to finally clear the table. Please just clear dirty dishes when you see them. We also ordered the dragon, ocean, volcano, and a more simple spicy salmon roll as well. It took a while for the four rolls which was expected. Dragon roll was sweet and not my cup of tea but it was okay. Ocean roll and volcano roll were quite bland especially for the price. The spicy salmon roll was again, not spicy, and was so blended that it resembled baby food carrots. Ginger and wasabi were both dry. Lack of awareness while reaching closely over our food to grab our half full cups for refills also rubs me the wrong way. The presentation of everything looked nice and it's not the lack of creativity or combinations of ingredients, it's the overall quality of ingredients. I am from a landlocked state myself but sushi restaurants there, especially at this price point, still hit the mark. Unfortunately, Sushi Kingdom did not hit that mark. I fear the low quality ingredients will be the bane of my evening. I'm glad we didn't do "all you can eat" here. I had enough.I would like to add that the server was nice, did a good job aside from the small things mentioned, and we left a good tip!

Did not like sushi! Service was excellent The old building is stinky. I would recommend this establishment. The floor in the bartender area has a broken drain. Health inspectors need to go in and write it up or close the business until it is fixed and re- inspected.

As a self-proclaimed sushi snob (annoying, I know), I've always been slightly afraid of AYCE sushi, but Sushi Kingdom hit the mark for AYCE. It's not the best sushi I've had, but considering the quantity, quality, and price, I was impressed. The service was slow and they missed a couple of our orders... don't expect to be wined and dined at Sushi Kingdom, but expect to leave stuffed and satisfied! We'll be back!

Visited Feb 06, 2024.Came Tuesday evening with my family. It was okay. Admittedly better than the Chinese buffet sushi but it shouldn't be compared to quality sushi restaurants, which expected, though a let down. $30 was a bit much for 'alright' taste. Kids price was $18 based on height. My kid's allergic to seafood and was charged $12 but still I think we would have been better ordering something else outside due to cross contamination. The two pieces of nuggets were fried hockey pucks, plain fries, and fried Oreos were split in half. The bright side, it's a made to order buffet. There are plenty of filler options: soup, salad, other appetizers. There were also hibachi options. I didn't order any but good to know if you didn't want just sushi. Food presentation was decent.Service was great! Fast/friendly.The restaurant building was old, paint wear n tear. Needs some more TLC. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. Gender separated restrooms with changing table present in the larger stall. Weirdest thing I saw, they had a "free" container of used or forgotten sippy cups/bottles. Gave the 'ick' feeling that they are giving it out like that. Maybe should be label 'lost n found'.

2/6/24 6:48pI recently visited Sushi Kingdom for the first time and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Located just a 25-minute drive from Nashville, it's important to consider the potential for traffic during rush hour, which can extend the travel time. The restaurant itself is a nice size and upon entering, we were warmly greeted by a server who promptly escorted us to our table. The unique aspect of Sushi Kingdom is that they offer two menus - one for all-you-can-eat and the other for à la carte. It's worth noting that whichever menu option you choose, the entire table must opt for the same. The server did a fantastic job of explaining the rules for the all-you-can-eat option and was more than willing to address any queries we had.We opted for AYCE. Everything is made-to-order sushi was fresh and delicious, featuring a variety of traditional rolls, specialty rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Additionally, the inclusion of appetizers and hibachi in the extensive menu ensures that you won't be leaving the restaurant feeling hungry. Orders were served fairly promptly, and the raw fish tasted remarkably fresh for an all-you-can-eat establishment.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of Sushi Kingdom, which offers an affordable and enjoyable experience with good sushi and hibachi. I definitely plan to return in the future.

Dude. Fresh sushi in Madison for under $20? I am very pleasantly surprised! I saw the good reviews and knew I'd have to try it for myself..The menu is pretty good for lunch. You have an assortment of appetizers, sushi, rolls, hibachi and more. How was the sushi? Didn't expect it, but it was fresh! Plus they don't overdo it on the rice like some other AYCE places!Nigiri Sushi- Tuna, Masago and Albacore were tasty. The salmon was so-so. Ladybug Roll- Didn't skimp on avocado, really good! Maybe next time I'll see if they have a side of spicy mayo to go with it.Spicy Tuna Hand Roll- jam packed with tuna and so yummy I wanted to order a dozen.Takoyaki- came out piping hot and crisp on the outside. This place was a great deal, had yummy food and top notch service. Really impressed and can't wait to go back!
