Sushi Island

My partner and I spotted this new sushi spot and decided to give it a chance. This place definitely out-classes the shopping center- it's clean, modern, and cozy. The staff was friendly and attentive, but most importantly the sushi was excellent. We tried four different rolls and every one of them delighted us. The Sunny Roll and Bonsai Roll are particularly highlights.I will DEFINITELY be coming back here.

Wow! So so so good. I stumbled across this place when I was in the area. I was the only one there, customer service was great and so are the prices. I hit the Vegas and hot and mild rolls. They are both fresh and delicious. I def will be back to try other things!

Was lucky to find this little locally-owned sushi spot near me! It's located in a small shopping plaza, and definitely worth a stop!I've been there twice so far (and expecting many more visits in my future!). The fish is so fresh, they provide exceptional customer service, and the prices are legit!Again, it's a new, small, locally-owned sushi spot. But don't be fooled- they have a lot of options for very reasonable prices.Each time I've been, the staff has been extremely welcoming and friendly. And when I find a new spot with great food and amazing service, I tend to make frequent stops because- And let's be real... I love supporting businesses that provide the community good food and service.So if you're in the area and in the mood for a delicious sushi roll, some fresh sashimi, or even just a cold drink and delicious eats with some friends, STOP BY.It's always worth trying out new places!!Thank you, Sushi Island for providing consistently great sushi and service! My taste buds did a happy dance at this new sushi spot! The lunch bento box specials, featuring the 3-roll combo and teriyaki salmon bento, were not only delicious but also incredibly fulfilling. The portion sizes on the sushi rolls were generous - so much so that we ended up taking some leftovers home! Each piece of sushi was fresh and expertly prepared, making for a truly delightful meal. What really stood out, though, was the friendly and quick service. The staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Can't wait to come back for more!

Stopped in this new little sushi spot (per yelp's recommendation for munch). It was quaint, warm and had very attentive service. I ordered the 3 roll combo lunch special: California roll, yellowtail roll and the spicy tuna roll & it came with a bowl of miso soup. Very delicious! Can't wait to come back and bring my sushi-loving kids!

Great portion and fresh delicious sushi. I will be back again and again. I did take out and that was a very smooth process and they packed the sushi excellently.

Great new sushi spot! Small and quant, less than 10 tables or so if I remember correctly. Well appointed dining room, clean and we were nicely greeted by every employee that was present. Server promptly brought menus over and went over the layout of them so we knew how to navigate what we were after. We were there for lunch so we opted for the "small" sashimi combo which was priced very fair and included 4 pieces of (5) different types of fish. Plenty to share for the (2) of us. Fish was FRESH and really good quality - delish! We also had some garlic edamame which was really tasty too and I had a side of rice with my sashimi which was cooked perfectly as well. We will definitely be back, excited to try some rolls but sashimi is my fav.

We stopped here on the way to State Farm Stadium based on the Yelp rating. It did not disappoint! My kids got the tempura udon soup and the California roll. My daughter left saying "this was amazing!" My husband and I split three rolls and each was incredible in its own way: bagel roll was light and fresh, poke roll was spicy and unique with tomato on top, and the sunny roll had a great flavor. The "special sauce" on top of the sunny was too mayo-y for us, so next time, we'd get it without, but it was still great. Finally, we ordered chocolate and mango mochi, both of which were drizzled with chocolate sauce. We love chocolate so we devoured it, but that might be something they clarify when most are probably used to plain mochi. We wish we lived closer, but we'll definitely be intentional about coming back!
