Sushi Hiro

Was craving some sushi late at night but also wanted some soup as well so we decided to come to Sushi Hiro!Food was reasonably priced we got the Tuna Maki, Triple Axel Roll, Avocado Bomb, and Tempura Udon (Not Pictured)When we first walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and great ambiance! We were seated in a booth and got complimentary miso soup which was nice.All of our food was good but it did take a while for my Tempura Udon to come out and unfortunately it did not come out the way it was described! I didn't receive the side of tempura but it was still refreshing and tasty. Will be back again to try more food!

I will go here again soon because the food was good and the prices were reasonable. The service was attentive and the owner came by our table and even gave us a sample of their house miso soup (which was spot on). It was a nice dinner and the casual vibes were exactly what you want in a sushi restaurant. I loved the presentation of our rolls, they were rolled well and it made using chopsticks and dipping them easy. I highly recommend this place for a quick lunch or a cozy date night. if you are looking for some satisfying eats, look not further!

The menu offers a blend of Korean and Japanese cuisine. While the sushi was okay, I'd opt for a Japanese restaurant next time I'm craving it. We also tried the army soup, a medley of tofu, spam, and ramen noodles. The flavor of the soup was just okay, similar to what you would expect from an instant ramen.

If you couldn't decide what to eat between Japanese and Korean food. This place is a perfect spot for you.We came here for sushi but the Korean menu looks pretty good too.Service was excellent. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend everything we ordered that day. We'll definitely come back to try their Korean menu next time. Cant wait

The sushi was delicious! The double crunch was huge. The wings were beyond just good. Had the best crunch to it. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, . We will definitely be back again

I recently sampled the Naruto sushi roll, a specialty creation that brought a different twist to my sushi experience. This roll is filled with a medley of flavors, including spicy tuna, crab mix, salmon, tuna, radish sprout, shrimp, and avocado, all wrapped in a cucumber exterior.The first bite was an intriguing blend of textures and tastes. However, I have to admit that the Naruto roll wasn't my personal favorite. The cucumber wrapper, although unique, slightly overshadowed the traditional seaweed nori that I'm more accustomed to. It offered a lighter, healthier alternative, but I missed the seaweed's subtle umami flavor and its ability to hold everything together more securely.While it may not have been my top choice, the Naruto roll is undoubtedly an adventurous and refreshing take on sushi. If you're looking to try something different, it's worth a taste, but it may not replace the classic sushi rolls in your heart.Sashimi is always an amazing experience. The fresh seafood slices, dipped in soy sauce and wasabi, create a delightful burst of flavor. It's a simple yet extraordinary dish that I love.

Fabulous food and service! Thanks to Sunny and Saint for taking care of us. We had such a huge appetite and we are glad we came by. The boneless chicken wings with a side of house dressing and sweet&spicy sauce was sooooo good! Each bite was moist, light and crunchy! It was not oily and heavily portioned. The chicken yakisoba was massive and great flavors. Jalapeño bomb came with 4pcs and also another good flavor. Hamachi was ok not that fresh but ok. Sunny offered us some miso soup while we waited which was also great. Please try this spot.. ask for the house dressing if you're getting boneless wings. Parking spots are throughout the restaurant.

Cute spot, perfect for groups. Staff very friendly and service was pretty fast for a holiday (Valentines day) evening. We ordered chicken karaage, spam rice balls, tempura udon, miso ramen, baked salmon (came with rice and salad) and a three sushi dishes. Plus soft drinks, total came out to roughly 160.00 including tip. Everything tasted fresh. Definitely worth a visit.* they sent all their guests home with a rose after paying tonight. owner was so sweet greeting everyone and wishing happy valentines day *

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere!Ambiance: There is a lot of parking around the building, so no worries there! There are two dining areas, one for smaller group and the other side is for larger groups. There are a lot of soju advertisements on the walls and some nice Japanese decor as well. Very clean, lots of room, there isn't much to complain about!Food: The menu was very straight forward with many different options if you are in the mood for sushi, or if you don't like sushi, there are many other options for you to choose as well. This restaurant is more of a Japanese-Korean fusion, as they service KFC alongside their Japanese menu items (plus soju!) They serve different rice bowls, ramen, and even fried chicken! We got the Hiro sushi roll, which was topped with spicy tuna and had soft shell crab on the inside. This was by far my favorite!! A serious must get! The crab is seasoned to perfection, and it was so crisp and light. I never had soft shell crab like this and this was the best I have ever tried. We also got the Galaxy Express 999 roll, which was good but not as good as the Hiro sushi roll. The topping was fried shrimp, which was more on the rubbery side and definitely felt old and frozen to the taste.For nigiri, we tried the bluefin tuna, which was not the best quality compared to some other places but nice overall. It was about $6 per piece of nigiri. Definitely won't be as high quality as an omakase but it definitely does the job if you are craving some nigiri!Last but not least, we tried some honey garlic KFC. O M G. This is super duper underrated. The chicken came in a light but super crispy batter, and the honey garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. It was sweet with the right amount of garlicky punch. It was just the best balance of savory and sweet. You can tell it was homemade and made with love! Do I dare say this is better than Underground Chicken? You might need to come in and try it for yourself! The portions were HUGE and it was a little hard to finish between 6 people! I would definitely come back for the chicken!Service: The service was wonderful and the staff were very quick and communicative. They'll let you know right away if something is out of the stock and have recommendations to satisfy any craving. The ladies in the front were so sweet and kind. You can tell this place is family-owned and I love supporting these businesses.Overall: I will definitely come back again! This place is wonderful for a larger party, both for family and friends. I'm excited to try more of the menu at my next visit~
