Sushi Friend

A completely different sushi experience! It's fun & fast paced. The inside is quite tiny but functional. When you first walk in you will be happily greeted by the sushi chefs. As you keep walking in, steer right straight up to the 2 ordering kiosks where you will decide what to order & drink then pay. We sat at the bar area which was quite entertaining watching all the magic being performed by the sushi chefs. There's a lot of pick up orders going on as well so there's a ton of traffic in this tiny establishment. With this is mind, you know your sushi will be fresh! After paying & seating yourself, you'll get your drinks from the fridge, utensils & napkins. When our order was up, we dug right in! The quality of the sushi was top notch!! Although it didn't look like there was a lot of food, we were full with our order. I loved how clean, efficient & happy this place is-the quality of the food makes it extra! 10/10

Ambiance is intimate. It is a small sitting restaurant with 4 2-person tables and small bar area. Super cute and the smell in there is divine because it is small. Love that sushi smell! The sushi is very good! Amazing quality. We order to go and it's always delicious!

I've been hearing of this place a lot and seeing it on Yelp, so I made the trip out to give it a try. For starters, the staff are awesome! The space is small, but immaculate & everything we tried was fresh & flavorful.

I was really excited to try this place but my expectations fell short. I love the logo, and the bright yellow tables, but otherwise the dining area is an echoey, LOUD space with no curtains to look out or anything on the wall. There is a small bar in front of the prep kitchen, but it's next to the tablets where you place your orders, so not so inviting. On top of this our eyes started burning after we got inside and didn't stop until after we left. The sushi itself was good, we were missing an item and they were quick to replace it. That said the wait for our order wasn't swift. If it were closer I'd consider this place for take out, but I don't see myself making an effort to return.

Sushi Friend is a great place to order sushi to go. There is indoor seating to dine in but the seating is minimal. The sushi is so good so it's definitely worth a try. I would recommend ordering online if you'd like to do a quick grab-and-go. We ordered when we got there and the wait was not too bad, about 15 minutes but it was worth the wait. The best part, if you want to watch magic of the sushi making, you have a great view of the process.

Quick lunch on a Saturday. The place is small and does a brisk take out business. We opted to dine in. The ambiance is very minimal, but clean and modern. The menu is pretty varied - hand rolls, cut rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and some bowls as well. We went for a some standard stuff - spicy tuna roll, spicy California roll, salmon, and mahi. All were well prepared and tasted good. Portion size was food as well. The service while tablet based was still engaging and friendly. Would recommend, would repeat...N*joy

The sushi was good! The tuna was melt in your mouth. It's easy to order and the inside is cute! They were friendly and quick! Will definitely be back.

I was skeptical of finding excellent sushi in the land locked land of Arizona, but this was honestly one of the best meals I had while in phoenix. Ordered online and picked up; easy, perfect amount of food, creative rolls, fresh and delicious. What more could you want in sushi.

Just consumed this glorious sushi for the first time. Let me tell you, this is a magical experience. Please, God, get the seared salmon special roll.We accidentally ordered a take out order for tomorrow instead of today, they were nice enough to make the food last minute before closing. Absolute legends working in there. Place was beautiful as well. Cute lil hole in the wall with a fantastic vibe. Eat there only if you want to significantly improve your day. This will be my first and only yelp review. Thanks for reading.
