They do have happy hour. Got the volcano chicken. Tastes like hot buffalo wings boneless and it comes with white rice and some salad. Also got the crab rangoon's, they taste different, but they were good. For my entree I got the wok bowl and added chicken and got noodles, you can chose rice if you want. It was good, has a bit of a kick to it. Pretty good spot, definitely has lots of flavorful dishes.

When someone mentions Sushi Brokers, I get nostalgic. I remember this spot being *THE* sushi place to go to during high school. A friend recently suggested going here for happy hour, so why not?We ended up ordering edamame, the damn good roll, surfer roll, and the sunshine roll. The damn good roll was good, the chipotle sauce had a surprisingly nice kick to it. The sunshine roll was also good, the salmon seemed fresh enough. The surfer roll however, was just okay. The shrimp dynamite part of the roll was a bit overcooked. Having said all that, the sushi was just average taste wise, quality wise, and presentation wise, nothing amazing that would make me go out of my way specifically for it.Overall, the service was friendly, but a bit on the slower side. This place has a casual ambiance with a fun vibe and loud music, great for a younger crowd.

I can no longer abide with Sushi Brokers. $4 is the happy hour price for a single PIECE of nigiri. Not an "order", which comes with 2, but a piece. A bite. For salmon, tuna, whatever standard fish you order, we're not talking something extra fancy like sea urchin or a special cut like otoro. The calamari used to be stacked high so full you couldn't see the plate, but now you're lucky to get more than a few pieces for your $8 order. The volcano chicken is even more sparse, not even worth ordering at this point. Is it the best sushi in town? No. Is it affordable? No. I've gone here my entire life, half of my childhood was celebrated at this very location, but whether it's the economy or the new management, it just makes no sense. However, I do not have a single bad thing to say about the service. I've only had great experiences here with the staff, they're incredibly attentive and kind and the food comes out super fast! I hope things get better here, it would be sad to see this restaurant fall apart after so many excellent years!

My daughter and I came around 4:00 for a quick bite to eat. The young woman had a bit of an attitude when she sat us- it was a little bizarre. Seemed a little "too cool" for her hostess job. Didn't even offer us a Happy Hour menu- just sat us with an attitude. Anyways, our server was much better. Sushi was fresh. She did manage to put my order in wrong with a basically empty restaurant... but she was very nice. Happy Hour prices didn't seem too different from their regular menu. Everything was pretty good. But I would avoid the surfer roll (I hope I'm naming it correctly) I don't have the menu present. It was over cooked shrimp, sloppy sauce and just piled ontop of a California roll. Just not it. Nothing excited us too much to rush back but definitely not a bad spot to grab a bite.

So many years I've been hearing how good sushi brokers is, and how great the restaurant is. Finally we had an opportunity to try and boy it was disappointing. Starting with good, it was average at best. Nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't up to the hype, that people have been talking about for years. So one star goes there. The other star was for the hostess, she was somewhat friendly, when I called and when we appeared at the restaurant. The server..... get -5 stars if there was an option. The disinterest in engaging with us was super obvious, as if we were there as an inconvenience to her. Her communication was more with head nods and non verbal.. When asked about if they had black label, she nosed yes but with a confused and unsure look on her face... so we asked if they had black label... that's when she confirmed again with non verbal facial expressions and we had to tell her it's whisky, she steps away and ask the bartender whom also wasn't sure and had to look, then respond with a yes. She did check on us once, but never refreshed our waters. Food presentation was good, flavors were ok but once again kept us underwhelmed. Not worth the hype, I'd definitely rather go to my neighborhood sushi restaurant, knowing that I'd get a service, a decent sushi and support my neighborhood business than come to well known restaurant that has lost its charm and reputation.

Returned after not having been here in a long time. I loved that the rolls are still delicious and the pricing is not bad at all considering it's North Scottsdale. We had an appetizer, multiple rolls and a couple drinks and our tab ended at $62. Not bad for dinner on a Sunday.Waitress was super friendly. 3 stars because the bathroom was unkept and it really took away from the experience. I think it's time for some renovation too,I mean this bathroom used to feel top notch back in the day. One of the walls was covered in shoe prints, like, how do you let it get that bad? Please take care of your bathrooms. They are a reflection of your business.

I like sushi brokers, but where there's one roach , there's a lot more. 2 stars because they did comp the food I already ate. Pest control and a deep cleaning should help, but I recommend being transparent when that happens. I'm not sure I'll be back.

Can confidently say I won't be returning. It took 20-30 minutes to receive any service. Meanwhile, many staff members just standing around. I had to get up and ask the hostess if we could have service, and that's when we were finally provided service. the bathrooms were disgusting, clearly had not been cleaned. Not worth the money, go somewhere else.

I heard great things about Sushi Brokers in Scottsdale so I knew when I came out from LA, I had to try it. Chris helped me out at the bar and the service was fantastic. He made sure everything was satisfactory and timely and offered great suggestions. The food was very reasonably priced. I started a talking with Chris and a few of the other bartenders and they were very friendly and open to conversation. Overall I highly recommend.
