Solid takeout sushi place in international district! We ordered togo: the spicy killer roll, red dragon roll, salmon lover and hot volcano roll. Everything was pretty good and tasted fresh! The only thing we'd skip next time is the hot volcano roll. It's a little messy and I don't entirely understand what they were going for with that.In total this was around $67 which is not bad for Seattle prices and for at least being fresh!

My favorite sushi place in the international district. Food was fresh, delicious, reasonable priced. Our server was fast, friendly, attentive and checked on us to see if we needed anything else after we got our foods. We ordered the salmon lover, and shared the lunch special; lunch special comes with miso soup or salad also. My friend and I especially love this place because they don't pack a ton of rice in their rolls, and the extra perk is the free parking garage which makes choosing this place to eat a no brainer.

Take out - really good sushi! I liked everything I got! The Inari was good and the caterpillar and futomaki were also very fresh. They prepared and packaged it well too. The only small critique is the cost for the portion sizing of the caterpillar roll but honestly I don't mind much because it was very tasty and satisfied my sudden late-night sushi craving!

This is my favorite casual sushi spot in all of Seattle. The portions and quality to price ratio is insane. I always get the Salmon Lover and Creamy Scallop roll. I've gotten them at least 5 times, and never has the quality been off or the consistency been different. The fish freshness continues to amaze me every time I order. The salmon lover comes with 3 sashimi slices, 8 maki pieces, and 6 nigiri pieces. The scallop roll also has a healthy portion of scallop!

I really enjoyed this place and their courteous service! There weren't many people on a Sunday afternoon but a friend recommended their torched sushi and I had to try it. One thing I didn't think was clear enough from the menu is that their torched sushi box is chefs choice so even though I wanted to try the unagi, I couldn't make that request. In any case, I'm glad at how it all turned out because every piece was delicious - my favs though were the spicy tuna and the saba (mackerel). All of the pieces had this slight smokyness to them, coupled with fatty fish, a sauce and a layer of crunch, you really cannot go wrong with any option chosen in my opinion. For what it's worth: I've seen other reviews talk about the rice cube being quite thick, but what I failed to notice was the fact they get stuffed with something like tempura or more veggies, hence the side angle for my pic so you can get a nice full view (it's not all just 1 block of rice and a slice of fish!). The edamame was well salted and the seaweed salad was standard but the whole table enjoyed them. The hand rolls were good but I felt like they were a bit hard to bite a piece from without looking savage. The flavor on the lobster hand roll made me forget about that mild annoyance though. All in all, I would come again & would rate this place closer to a 4.5 in my book.

Sushi aveGod how I wish sushi wasn't so expensive sometimes. My bank account actually cries every time but I LOVE SUSHI anyways. Here's a somewhat affordable place called Sushi Ave located in the Pacific Rim Center in ID/Chinatown. Upon coming in, the space in there isn't too big or special and their service is just the same as any of their place so I really am just their for sushi. I do think it's clean, cozy, and feels kinda hidden. A good spot to go with a couple friends or on a casual date as well.Their salmon is so fresh so I usually order that the most. They are also known for their torched sushi which is also really good! You can actually get full here without going broke. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. What I order:* Salmon Lover: 6 pieces salmon nigiri, 8 pieces salmon avocado maki, 3 pieces of fatty salmon sashimi ($17)* Torched sushi (I usually opt for the any 4 torch sushi combo which comes in 2 of each kind) * Unagi, salmon, spicy salmon, wasabi tuna, saba torch, torch special are some of the ones I get * Last samurai roll* Jalapeño hamachi Definitely try the first two! I can't wait to try some of the other things on their menu. I do wanna mention that they have 2 hour free parking in the garage which is awesome since it can be pretty hard to find parking these days. (Someone take me here again please)
