Surje Coffee at the Gallery

This is a cool little small business coffee shop. It's located inside the "Gallery" of El Cajon on Main Street.They are dairy free, so I had a cortado with oat milk. The cortado was fantastic, given that they use quality oat milk. The roast they use was robust and flavorful. I liked the nuttiness that it offered towards the end. Great non milk cortado. I look forward to trying some of their other offerings. Baked goods will be coming soon.Service is very friendly and welcoming. The place is very nice with artwork all around. There's inside and outside seating.

Loveeeedd the Mediterranean coffee mocktail!! This had pistachio syrup, a dash of salt, espresso, and oat milk. The pistachio flavor was oh so perfect, and this is now a dangerous place because I wanted 5 more cups of this right after. It was perfect that it already came with oat milk because I would have changed it to oat anyway, but the drink is $9, so the price is already adjusted for that I suppose.I'm not sure if all the mocktails are made in a shaker, but this one was just like any other cocktail, which I prefer because I like my drinks shaken, not stirred ;)This cafe was tucked inside an art gallery that also sold some other art, stickers, knick-knacks from local artists, which was very cute. The staff here greeted me right when I walked in and was very sweet until the very end. I even asked for stickers to cover the lids to prevent spillage in my car, and they don't carry stickers like that, but they offered their logo stickers they add to their cups, which was very sweet of them, so I appreciate the extra efforts they made to accommodate. I'm excited to come back to try other drinks!

We came on a Sunday morning for our daily cup of caffeine. Lots of available parking and the cafe is located on the main street. I loved loved loved the vibe of this coffee shop! It's located inside an art gallery that sells pieces from local artisans; SOO cute!! Would drinks were absolutely fabulous and I was able to have oat milk! Dairy substitutes are on deck! I'll definitely be back! Parking was also a piece of cake with parking stalls directly in front of the entrance door.

No better coffee in San Diego, dare I say California, dare I say THE WORLD!But honestly, if you are looking for an amazing beverage in San Diego Surje Coffee is a must-try that you will not regret. Suggestion: "Chai my Pecans" is everything you need and want in a cup.

Fantastic space in beautiful art gallery and the drinks are artistic triumph too. Great service and a super place to relax and enjoy your life. Need more of this in East County.

Wow! This is such a stellar place for a coffee shop. Their handcrafted coffee and intentionality behind everything in the space and their product is amazing. They go above and beyond for their customer experience and I'm happy to drive 20+ minutes from San Diego out there for it. It's so worth it. I'm a big decaf person as well and their decaf tastes phenomenal. I'm a big fan girl this place and I'm so excited to watch their growth. I'm sure another time they'll have multiple locations. Highly recommend! Don't wait go right now. :)

I was excited to try this new spot out and when I did I was disappointed with the experience . The coffee wasn't that great tasting but it was cute looking . The lady took what it seemed 20 minutes to make two coffees which led us to be late for school. I personally won't be back due to the customer service of how long it takes to make two drinks . The lady took my order and then made one drink and then helped other customers before making the second drink which caused us to be super late . If she had just made both of the drinks that were ordered at the same time I would come back but since the coffee wasn't that great It just makes it so I won't be back . Ordered a warm Chai my Pecans. I can taste the complexity of the spices that they put in it. This truly warms my soul as I drink it in a rainy day.
