This is the most authentic Indian food I've had since moving to the area. Its great to find somewhere that does most of the dishes very well and everything is wonderfully flavorful and decently spicy if desired. All of the hits are here on the menu - we got samosa chaat, Gobi Manchurian, pav bhaji, and masala dosa. Loves each and every dish and had no complaints. The chickoo milkshake was also bomb. Would absolutely bring family and friends here. Everything is vegetarian which is great for the Gujarat roots. The spot is also right next to Patel so it's perfect to grab a bite after some shopping. The staff was very nice and the the service was very quick. Chill place - plenty of take out boxes. Will be back many times for the taste of home.

Surati offers good Indian food. Its a small cozy restaurant that has plenty of parking outside. Although the service is a little slow and the team is very sweet. I have been here multiple times to satisfy my Indian food cravings. They have fairly good dosas which I definitely recommend. The chutneys are quite good. I have also tried their vada pav and it was quite good too!I don't eat too spicy food, and the food here is easy on spice. It is also fresh and they have plenty of options beyond the Dosas!

This place is amazing! It has a cozy vibe, and you immediately feel like you're stepping into a welcoming space. We ordered a few different dishes to split and everything was absolutely amazing. Each bite was full of flavor, and the food came out hot and fresh! The staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here to try more dishes!

My family loves this place. We always stop here when we come to Nashville. The food is spicy and flavorful. We love the various dosa they have. The spring dosa is different and I recommend trying it at least once. I love their rava dosa. The chili cheese sandwich is excellent. Definitely get that. Be aware it's spicy. Surati veggie is another great sandwich. Their vada pavs are great too

I've been hearing about Surati Indian Street Food for a while and was glad to get the chance to try it out on a Saturday night! Here's the general sense of the place:-It's self service, so you'll order at the counter then place a number at your table.-The inside is very small, and this place is extremely popular for families to visit on Saturday nights. The staff do their best on managing the place, but it does get a little chaotic, so be prepared.-Coming from a South Asian, the dosa was pretty well made. I appreciated that the aloo was on the side (I can't stand it when the dosa gets soggy). However, I do wish the dosa batter had been a bit more fermented. I also felt that the sambar could've had more tamarind added to it.All in all, a solid place to get a quick Indian bite in Nashville.

The food is out of this world, so good! The service was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back. They have so many items on the menu. I'm telling all my friends about this place. Almost everything we got had a spicy kick to it, so I recommend trying one of their delicious milkshakes to pair with your meal to help cut the heat.You have to try one of their pizzas, they are a yummy take on Indian food all packed into a personal pie. If you're stumped on what to get, you can always ask since the staff is great at making recommendations based on your tastes.The shop is a quiet place with parking in the back.This is a great place to check out with friends or a date.

Wow! Amazing place. Highly recommend making the trip here. Worth the drive! Flavors galore and wonderful friendly staff. It's a bit hard to find, hidden behind buildings off of Nolensville pike, which makes this a true hidden gem. My husband and I dined in at Surati on Wednesday evening. We stepped in from a cold rainy evening and was created warmly by the staff behind the cash register. Prior to this experience, I have only had the pleasure of trying a few Indian street items at other establishments and was excited to expand my knowledge. We asked for recommendations and was not steered astray. We tried the Tandoori pizza (good), chaat (excellent), dosa (amazing!), and a chickpea and fried puffy bread dish that I forgot the name of (also amazing)! Spices in all dishes were rich and flavorful and the spice level was perfect. Thank you for this awesome event!
