Supreme

After hitting up a nearby rooftop bar with my roommate, we came into Supreme about half an hour before closing. We could only order takeout and there was only 2-3 types of pizzas left. Both my roommate and I settled for a pepperoni pizza. What was really nice though was that the cashier gave us both a second slice for free since they had to get rid of inventory before they. closed. Pizza was good, though you could tell it was made earlier in the night. No worries though, was still tasty!

Good dive bar with pizza in the front; the old Pagliacci's location. The pizza slices are $6 and we were very impressed! I got the Detroit and she got the Seattle Dog slice. Detroit is thick and cut square; both soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. Perfect. The Dog slice came with a kielbasa sliced lengthwise so when you fold the NY style slice you get a bite of dog in every bite. Jordan took great care of us.

Didn't know they were a bar so my 15 year old could not come in. We stopped by after his football game at the local high school. We ordered 6 slices and an order of lemon pepper wings - which are not tech fried but pan seared in butter?? It took around 10 mins for my wings to be done. The atmosphere was cool, the music was good but just kinda bummed it's not labeled as a bar. We would have gone somewhere else since we wanted to sit down and eat before our hour drive back home. We ended up eating in the car and I had originally ranked this place 3 stars but babeeeeeee those lemon pepper wings were FIRE!!! I mean FIRE!!! I have not had a decent wing since we moved here in 2016. Every time we are in this area I will stop and get wings just cause!! The pizza was also good ..

Good pizza, nice selection of beer! Cool building. I came in because it smelled so good outside. Clean and great service. UW District area. Pretty good prices

The first time I came here for food and drinks and had an enjoyable time. The pizza was pretty good and I didn't mind paying slightly high prices because of a fun atmosphere and good experience.More recently, I have come back a few times just for food. The pizza is not great when it is not fresh and if you order by the slice, it usually tastes as though it's been sitting for a few hours. Last time I came the servers were rude and short with my friends who were simply asking for suggestions on what to order. The thicker slices of pizza -- especially when sitting -- are not that good at all. They aren't crispy enough for my liking and the dough has a dull, stale texture. The thinner slices of pizza were definitely better. The one time I was lucky enough to get slices of a freshly made pizza, it was pretty good, as fresh pizza should be. If you are looking for pizza and strictly food, Supreme Pizza is not the place for you. If you are looking for a bar setting for drinks and TVs, it is better.

Supreme is a solid 3.5-4 stars. Divey, dark, but all in all good atmosphere. They generally will have some sports playing alongside some great punk rock tunes. Staff here are relatively friendly and attentive. Pricing for drinks are a bit high, but on-par for pizza slices. Their pizza (any kind) is typically pretty decent as are their salads. I enjoy that they are open later than a lot of joints in the U District and never typically have to wait around long for seating. Good for take out as well however!Definitely a staple here in the neighborhood!

I popped into Supreme for a couple slices on a weekday afternoon (late lunch/early dinner). The pizza didn't look particularly good sitting out but parking was such a hassle I took a gamble. (expect to park a couple blocks away as there's not much parking to come by on University) It is New York style, my favorite style, but I neither super impressed or heavily let down. It looked better once it was re-heated. I just got some cheese with basil, I liked the doughy crust though it lacked flavor, and it had a nice even ratio of cheese to sauce (hate when it's overloaded with stuff and falls apart before reaching your mouth). The basil was a welcomed touch. Something was missing and can't quite put my finger on it. Prices are a tad steep, but the size of the slices are decent I suppose. I was in and out fairly quickly, took longer to find parking. I'd order again when in need of a quick bite, but I'm not craving Supreme if that makes sense.

This place gets 5 stars because it's my favorite bar in the neighborhood. Their frozen drinks are delicious, the pizza is really good and I love the atmosphere (charming and slightly dive-y). The bartenders have always been efficient, welcoming and friendly. I'm glad Supreme is on the Ave.

For a positive note, the welcome when I came in was friendly.However it was over shadowed by neglectful service from the bar gal. She was so busy chatting with another customer the the whole time I was there, that to get her attention for anything after my pizza and drink were ordered that it took a loud excuse me 3 times. This included receiving my check. It doesn't bother me that the server visits, but all customers should be tended to and your basic job details should be taken care of. The pizza was so old that the cheese was cardboard and thecrust was dry and just plain bad. I was unable to get the gals attention so I walked up to the pizza counter and received another piece that was much better. The cheese shakers on the whole bar area were empty. The bathrooms were so dark I literally could not see that there was piss all over the seat. It became a place I won't return to or recommend. Sad!
