Friendly waitress who gave plenty of recommendation. The AYCE buffet is reasonably priced ($15 for kid, $30 for adult).I did not want to over eat so I went for the a la carte menu. Ordered two different kinds of beef noodle soups but both looked identical. One was the braised beef noodle soup and second one was beef with pickled cabbage. Would love for more pickled cabbage in the bowl because they definitely skimped on them. Hand made noodles so the texture were chewy. I was planning on ordering the chicken skewers but waitress said to order the Popcorn chicken instead because it's a popular item on the menu. Plus can be served as a meal. They were alright, the batter in my opinion were too much. Love the tender beef skewers (awesome spiced rub) but overly salted. The skewers, popcorn chicken and noodles were all too salty. Now i know why there are water bottles on every tables. Probably for the spicy mala hot pot broth or for salty entrees. Street parking and good luck fighting for a spot when majority will be taken from next door restaurant joint. Other patrons went for the hot pot menu. Looks delish and fresh so I would go back for that so I can alter the sodium level.

Food was delicious. Service was not bad, friendly waitress. Braised beef Soup was $15.95, which was a great price and is very filling. May be enough for 2 people. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was to die for, beautifully seasoned.

This place is not closed! I really enjoyed the fish in this place. For that fish I will give it 5 stars. I forgot the name but there was one that was slim and another that was shorted and wider, a mackerel perhaps? Both were tasty and freshly fried. They have a unique hotpot that has 9 sections divided into the bowl which I thought was different. I had the beef chicken shrimp fish cake and chicken wing skewers. All were tasty but the chicken wing skewer is huge! I also enjoyed the grilled green pepper. Amazing.

Very clean restaurant first of all! 10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys hot pot. Food was absolutely outstanding, best hot pot I've ever had. Customer service was outstanding and was given suggestions on what to try. The woman even told us that they boil the chicken breast into the broth for over two hours! Seriously fabulous! Our new hot pot spot!

We went on a Saturday night during their soft opening so the menu is limited to one page. We were the only ones and League of Legend was playing on the TV. We were skeptical at first but overall, the food was very good. Here's my recommendation thus far: Grilled eggplant, the eggplant is grilled halved and then slathered with a garlic scallion oil. Small grilled oysters were $2.50 a piece while the large oysters were $4.50 a piece. The large oysters were twice the size of the small oyster, but other than that, both were seasoned the same, with a garlic ginger scallion dressing. You will notice that a lot of the dishes have a similar garlic scallion dressing. If you can't handle fishy, don't order the grilled saury. It comes with a small wedge of lime. This fish has tiny bones. It's like a less fatty and less fishy (but still fishy) version of a mackerel. If you can't handle fishy, I would skip on this. I want to say, all the skewers we tried had the same seasoning. You can definitely taste among the spices, cumin. The first round, we ordered the chicken gizzard, chicken heart, and lamb skewer. All had different texture and were good. We purposely skipped the chicken skewer during the first order, however, it turned out to be one of our favorites. It was juicy and tender. Same with the shrimp skewers, which turned out to be another favorite. It was sweet and juicy. It's one shrimp per order with the head, tails, and shell on. Sausage skewer comes with three pieces, which were also good. But not something so good that I would order multiples of. I hope they will be expanding more on their menu. Such as adding different parts of the chicken such as thigh meat, skin, etc. And I know this is Chinese BBQ skewers and not Japanese yakitori, but I do hope they expand on the flavors profile. Maybe add scallions or leeks between the chicken skewers for different texture. They already have quail eggs, but how about bacon wrapped quail eggs? Or maybe bacon wrapped okra or bacon wrapped enoki. Or grilled thick cuts of bacon. Also maybe adding more vegetables and mushrooms such as enoki, shiitake, oyster mushroom. I don't recommend the fried bons which comes with a condensed milk for dipping. These were not good because they were way too oily and airy. They were also much smaller when compared to other places we have tried. One order comes with four pieces. Just way too oily and not enough bread. Oh, and they really need to fix their door. Each time it closes, there is a loud squeaking noise because of an improper fit. Other than that, food tasted good. Customer service was prompt and efficient. I would definitely come back. See my pictures.

Maybe the hotpot wasn't their specialty, but it wasn't that great. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty. I was surprised how small the restaurant was. Parking was a but annoying since it seemed to only have street parking on a residential street. I don't think that the food quality is premium, especially since I saw a group of people carry grocery bags from 88 and 99 supermarket from down the street. On top of that, a number of people who came with me got very sick afterwards. The service was ok. I thought their broths tasted very flavorable, but I question the quality of their ingredients.
