Superica in the Gulch is a must-visit if you're in the mood for great Mexican food in Nashville! The modern Mexican cuisine served in a sleek, stylish space makes for an excellent dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Now, let's talk about the cocktails! Their margaritas are on point. Whether you prefer classic, spicy, or something more adventurous, they have you covered. The flavors are bold, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The food is equally impressive-- Mexican dishes with a modern twist. The flavors are vibrant, portions are generous, and everything is prepared with great attention to detail. It's clear that this place takes pride in what they serve.Superica is perfect for a date night or a fun evening out with friends. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Gulch!

If you're looking for Country meets Tex-Mex this is your place. Darker lighting, rock music, western decor all create the ambiance while you dine. Connor was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and checked in throughout our meal. Unfortunately I wasn't overly impressed with the food or drinks. I tried both the jalapeño margarita and hibiscus margarita. The jalepeno was good and had a kick to it which I enjoyed but the hibiscus one was awful. I tried stirring it, giving it a few more sips but I ended up trading it for the bandit queen margarita which was only slightly better. For dinner I ordered the 3 tacos, 2 beef and one grilled avocado. The avocado taco was the best part of my meal, it was so good! However my food was lukewarm at best, the tortillas were super greasy and I ended up not eating much.

Decent Mexican food, a little pricey, bad parking, but good service. The parking situation sucked because unless you can find a pay street parking or a spot in their tiny back parking lot, you do have to park in the garage and pay. Our waiter, Evan, was friendly and attentive. When asked about the menu, he recommended to me the enchiladas suizas over the verdes. This is what I got:-Chips & Salsa, Guac, & Queso: 9/10 - They bring out regular chips and salsa for free (and both types of salsa are really good!) but if you order guac and queso they also come out with these thicker chips that are just so flavorful and crunchy. I didn't try the guac but I can speak on their queso, which was very good. It had a little kick while still being predominantly cheesy and was a very smooth texture.-Enchiladas Suizas: 8.5/10 - These were corn tortillas stuffed solely with a sort of braised chicken and topped with a deliciously warm and creamy set of sauces. Very flavorsome, though I do wish there had been a little more to the filling than just the chicken itself. -Refried Beans: 6/10 - These were not as good as most refried beans I've had at Mexican restaurants. They were very liquidy, not very rich, and only had a little sprinkle of queso fresco on top. I prefer thicker, creamier refried beans.-Side Salad: 8.5/10 - I got this instead of the rice that came with my enchiladas ($2 up charge) and when it arrived at my table it was HUGE. This was by far the best salad I've had at a Mexican restaurant for sure. Jalapeños, a creamy dressing, cheese, and crispy veg all came together to make a delicious sort of jalapeño-Caesar-esque situation. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I love Superica. The chicken quesadillas, queso, and guacamole are only 2nd to Texas Tex-Mex restaurants. Sooo good!

I came to visit a friend and she brought me to this restaurant and I am glad she did. The vibe inside is great. Huge place with lots of seating. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with guac, rice and pinto beans. The food was very good. Our server looked pretty busy so our food came out a little late, in my opinion. When I visit again, I'll probably come back here.

Right when you walk in the doors, you feel like you're transported to Mexico! While they don't take reservations, they do have an online waitlist. Highly recommend joining before you leave the house so you don't have to wait too long because this place is busy!! I had an off-menu pomegranate margarita that was solely worth going back for. However the steak fajitas, served with garlic butter, were by far the star of the show. I never order fajitas because I don't enjoy peppers, but they put an entire pepper off to the side to mitigate that! The lightning is dim but the crowd is boisterous! Already planning my next visit!

Took me a while to try this place, so glad we did. We ordered the ensalada de la casa, tacos de barbacoa and kids cheese quesadilla. The salad was delicious. The tacos de barbacoa were so good. It was slow cooked brisket with cheese onions cilantro. It came with 3 tacos, rice and charro beans. Their beans were delicious also. The kids cheese quesadilla was good it came with rice and fried beans. Everything was so good. Their salsa was really good too I had to take some chips and salsa to go lol. Overall the service was great I can't remember our waiters name, but he was super nice. Can't wait to go back.

We had a group of 11 and our server was amazing! The hostess at the front was rude but our server more than made up for it. I am a cheese lover but don't like too much spice. The table ordered a few appetizers but I only had the queso, chips, and green salsa. It was all perfect. For my meal I got the cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce instead of chili gravy (per the waiters recommendation) since I don't like meat. It was perfect. The corn tortillas were nice and they were loaded with cheese.

AMAZING! Bathrooms available and plenty of parking-parking deck right next to small parking lot. I went with my sister and the place is so spacious and close to downtown. She is a local in Nashville and swears by this place. We are both from Central America and love our margaritas and Latin cuisine. These tortillas are homemade!! Chips/totopos are corn chips -but have hade contact with flour. The salsa was so good we asked for some to take back with us. They have an avocado tomatillo salsa that is just incredible. I think we had three helpings of it alone.Fajitas are incredible! We had steak and it was nice thick chunks of great meat! Normally is flat flank steak that's slightly over cooked but this was perfect and we shared that and it was plenty! Now the margaritas are incredible!! I had the OG and the pomegranate. I would recommend the OG. It was limey and so good! There is an inside and a patio. We sat on the patio it was perfect

There's truly not a spot I dream about more in all of Nashville. And their brunch.... A DREAM. I always say this is such a hidden gem because it's never busy but I also need them to stay busy enough to stay in business because I would be heart broken without them! Their quality of steak is just better than any I've ever had and the homemade tortillas are truly life changing. And the pancake at breakfast... wow. I believe Iberian pig is owned by the same group and I'm STOKED to try if it's anything similar to this. Service is always great and ambiance it perfect!
