Love Superica!I've visited this location and a few others numerous times, I can't believe that I haven't previously shown them some love. With a classic Tex Mex menu, Superica is right up my alley. This Krog Street location is probably one of my favorites. With tons of parking available (in the front lot and in the garage), there is rarely an issue getting your car situated. With indoor and outdoor seating, this restaurant is quite spacious and offers enough space for a party of 1, 2 or even 15 if you choose to! My first real visit to Superica was for a solo happy hour adventure and I'm still so happy that I ventured there for the afternoon. It was incredibly easy to grab a seat at the bar and get settled with a very attentive bartender who made my experience great. The small plates menu wasn't incredibly cheap but for the portion I ended up receiving, it ended up making sense (and being very delicious!) I ordered the tamales and WOW. I'm still dreaming of them over a year later, lol.On my recent visit, I had lunch with my brother-in-law and his coworker and they loved it just as much as I do. As he is a pescatarian, finding a place that lives up to my Elite foodie standards, wasn't crazy pricey AND offered a good variety of non-beef/pork/chicken options was a fun search for me and I settled on Superica. So glad that I did. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and although there were a number of guests already seated, there were ample tables available and I was quickly taken to an indoor table and greeted. Between the three of us we ordered: catfish tacos, quesadillas and I had the tortilla soup + flautas. I surprisingly didn't loveee the soup as there were way more beans that expected but the flavor was still delicious. My flautas were so good! I wasn't starving or I would have ordered more/something different, but the small plates that I went for were great choices. My brother in law and his friend also enjoyed their meals, evident by their empty plates at the end. I also had a glass of their seasonal agua fresca which was a pineapple (guava too?) and it was yummy, a bit sweeter than I like but it was empty in minutes. Also, let's talk about those chips and salsa!! I love some spice so I want that red salsa injected into my veins. They kept the chips coming, although I could have gone for even more jars of salsa but I would have never finished my meal or left the restaurant. The avocado salsa is also delicious but the red salsa has my heart. All in all, always a great experience with the food and the team at Superica. I'll definitely be back!

Have been to Superica in Dunwoody a number of times a LOVE it. Chose to try Krog Street just for change of pace. We always get the steak/chicken fajitas for two, and previously the steak for two, but unfortunately no longer available, and love it. Fajitas are the best in town no question. The chips and salsa are great, with my favorite being the avocado salsa. Service was great. I am however pretty convinced the fajita serving size is smaller here in terms of how much steak and chicken they give you compared to Dunwoody. Recommend you specify how you want your steak cooked as can come out pretty rare if you don't ask for medium or medium well. Also, not sure if just the night we were there or always, but were a lot of flies that detracted from the enjoyment of eating outside. Overall, will stick with the Dunwoody location.

Superica is a Tex-Mex cuisine in the Krog Street District area. A few friends and I popped in to eat here for lunch. PARKINGLots of paid parking decks now. There is street parking if you can find any, but expect a little walk. SERVICEAlways friendly and attentive. FOODFood is hit or miss, depending on the day. The chips and salsa are delicious. However, most recently, I ordered the lunch special.* Lunch Special $14.99: Tamale and Salad with rice and beans. The tamale was overcooked and dried. The meat was seasoned well but very salty. The beans with the entree were very salty, too, so I had a bite or two and left it be. The only item I enjoyed was the salad. Overall, Superica offers a fun environment in which to grab a bite. I'd stick with the chips and salsa, queso, and guacamole. The entrees are a gamble.

As someone who grew up eating authentic Mexican cuisine, I was wary of Mexican food in Atlanta. But boy am I glad I took a chance on Superica!Setting: Located within Krog St. Market - Indoors is a louder vibe and outdoors is perfect for a quieter setting. Service: Spacious and accommodating, but wait times can be high! Nonetheless, I've had attentive service every time I've dined in. Food: From the brunch menu to dinner, dishes are wonderfully flavorful! My recommendations are the chicken enchiladas suizas and fajitas. I've heard the pancakes are fantastic too (I've yet to try them). Their drinks are a perfectly sweet addition to any meal.

We were walking the Beltline and got hungry, so we stopped into Superica. We were visiting from out of town, so we had no expectations. Our experience at Superica was fantastic! We were able to walk in and be seated right away. Our waiter was very kind and was willing to answer any questions we had. He brought over some chips and two types of salsa (a tomatillo salsa and a red salsa). We started off with some drinks. I ordered "Under the Volcano" and my date ordered a margarita. For our food, I ordered the ensalada de La casa with grilled chicken and my date ordered the tacos de camarones. Our food was really good! The vibe of the Resturant was dope too! I always appreciate a space that is open to let the fresh air in. The bathrooms were fun too. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and I would visit again the next time I'm in Atlanta! -one more thing to note: on the way out, they had a basket of packs of matches! I like to collect match packs for when I light my candles at home. A lot of places don't give out match packs anymore so that was a pleasant surprise!

Pretty decent food, great ambiance! Chips and salsa were top notch and I loved my tortilla soup. The salad was better than I expected and my boyfriend's steak fajitas were great! A little on the pricier side for Mexican but not surprising based on the location. Superica is right on the beltline and in Krog so it's a great place to walk around after or get a sweet treat before leaving.

Totally hit the spot- shrimp tacos & beans! My first visit and was completely pleased. Service was quick and attentive, the atmosphere is fast, loud, fun and inviting- great for group outings and dates. Loved the beans- seasoned well, not refried or smashed just a good bowl of beans that I could've eaten alone lol Recommend not coming between 2pm-5pm because the menu is limited after lunch and before dinner. Tasty margaritas.

AMBIANCE:This place is a vibe! Definitely ALWAYS PACKED on weekends, you should always make a resy or it'll be a long wait. UPSIDE: if you do have to wait, just walk next door to KROG STREET MARKET & grab a beer at Hop City while you wait! Or hangout at Supericas bar & grab a refreshing margarita.FOOD:$11 QUESO FUNDIDO: just get this. It's melts cheesy goodness, what could possibly go wrong. You'll thank me later. $15 PICADILLO (ground beef) ENCHILADAS: This was OK. I would rather try something else next time. The QUESO FUNDIDO was the star.

Food and ambiance were great, but service was strangely slow for the amount of people seated, AND they double charged my card for both my meal, and my friend's meal. Didn't realize until after I had left the restaurant, and it was fine because my friend was able to just venmo me the money (neither of our bills were too much), BUT imagine if our checks had been way larger OR I didn't have the funds to pay for both bills (since I was only anticipating to pay my own check). Not very professional....
