I came here on a Sunday afternoon and snagged a nice shady spot under the many available umbrellas. I absolutely loved coming here on a beautiful sunny day in San Diego with my fiancé and pupper. The views of Mission Bay were so beautiful. There is a ton of seating. Such a cute outdoor coffee shop and cocktail area with quick yummy bites!I got an iced matcha latte with almond milk: 7/10My fiancé got a vanilla biscuit latte: 8/10Caprese panini came with kettle chips and it was a solid 8/10The cashiers and baristas were friendly. Communicative and clear on where to pick up food order versus our drinks. I would definitely come back here with my girl friends and as a date spot and try their evening menu and cocktails!

Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it cute as heck and in the most prime location for grabbing coffee on a bay walk? Also yes. So I will gladly wait in line and shell out $7+ for a specialty iced latte. It's okay, you can judge me.I love meeting up with friends here to grab coffee before we walk along the bay. The seating area is nice too, so if you're here on a nice day, you can soak up the sun with a book or a date (I've heard it's a good first date spot haha). Also, you can use a nice bathroom here rather than the questionable public ones along the bay. They have a rotating seasonal menu, which keeps things interesting if you come here often and like to try new things. Last time I tried the iced lavender white mocha, which was probably the best coffee drink I've had here so far. They also have happy hour and some special events, which I've been meaning to check out. While I would love if the drinks were a bit cheaper, Superbloom is really an excellent addition to this side of Mission Bay, and really a unique spot in the world of boujee San Diego coffee (of which I am an enthusiastic explorer).

Superbloom is part of the Mission Bay Beach Club in San Diego. They are a casual cafe featuring locally roasted coffee, specialty drinks, and healthy food options. Their focus is on a healthy lifestyle (which should be easy, enjoyable, and delicious). I met up with a few friends to see their new babies and go for a walk in Sunny San Diego! I tried their Matcha Latte with oat milk and a one of their muffins. Service is quick and efficient. Can't complain about the environment... it's Sunny San Diego and by the water. Easy parking. Nice place for a stroll. Definitely enjoyable!!

The location and the views here are wonderful! But the experience was underwhelming and that was expected based on reviews we read. This whole place is an outdoor place. Coming here on a weekend morning, the wait in line to order took +30 minutes. There isn't plenty of seating so I'd recommend for a member of your group to claim a table. The food took a while and you need to grab some napkins and plastic utensils since they won't bring those out to you. The breakfast plate was nothing spectacular. The eggs were average, the bacon had the texture of microwave turkey bacon, but I liked the bread with the jam. At the price of $14, the breakfast plate was kind of expensive. The matcha was okay, I tasted more milk than actual matcha.

I've driven by so many times and am happy that I was finally able to check it out! First off, it's in a convenient location pretty much right off the freeway and in the middle of Mission Bay and it's hard to miss with its tall steeple. There is parking but all are marked as 1-hr parking although I'm not sure how strict they are about that. As you walk up, it's a cute outdoor area with seating, the coffee counter and wine shop in the indoor area. They really decorated it well with lots of flowers, wall succulents and different colors that made it welcoming. Their menu was pretty diverse and I especially liked the seasonal and specialty drinks. I ended up ordering the Spirit of Aloha latte. It was very good and not too sweet and the macadamia nut flavors were just the right potency. I also ordered the chocolate chip cookie warmed up and it was delicious! As for the other food, I will have to save that for another visit. Service here is pretty quick and the ladies at the counter were nice and gave some recommendations. The drinks themselves were made rather quickly and we were able to enjoy our afternoon hanging out on the patio with lovely views of the bay. Lastly, I was happy to discover they have happy hour here M-F from 4pm-close for $2 off beer/wine and free corkage from the bottle shop. Great idea to have a bottle shop here with options for wine tasting. I also noticed they have yoga on different days and hope to check that out soon. Really feeling this place and all that it has to offer.

I'm surprised at the mixed reviews of this place, I had an amazing experience! I ordered an iced spirit of aloha drink. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. Not too sweet and hit the spot! I recommend this drink for all you coconut lovers out there. I wanted to order the tomato caprese sandwich, but they were out of pesto. I'm soo glad they were out because I ended up getting the turkey cranberry Brie sandwich. And wow. I was not expecting it to be that good. The bread was toasted perfectly and had a garlic butter taste to it. I absolutely loved it. The chips it came with was also delicious. It tasted so fresh. I was so impressed! Servers were quick and friendly with my drink. The food took a while. But it was worth the wait. I also came here on the weekend. Ambiance is beautiful. There's seating right off of mission bay. You can people watch, go on a date, journal. There's even a bar and cute little shop! This definitely won't be my last visit

Nice view but always hesitant to come here. Service continues to be slow. Today I had a large Americano and GF Biscuit Cookie for $14.49. The cookie was very dry and next time I will avoid GF. The week prior I had a biscuit and that was pretty good. I can't remember if it was GF but likely not because it was moist. You might consider more than one register so the line moves more quickly and customers can enjoy the view instead of standing in line.

Honestly food is extremely mediocre and super dry. Bagel and biscuit were close to a choking hazard because of how dry they were even after drenching with butter/jam. Cute spot on mission bay but not worth the high prices and bad quality. Coffee is also watered down and overpriced.

Super cute spot for a coffee and a chat outside by the bay! Adorable ambiance. Delicious latte! I had the island bliss. However, i would pass on the avocado toast. $13 for a thick piece of bread with barely any avocado on it. I couldn't even finish it :/ the bacon is thin microwave to eat type bacon. I would come back for a latte, but not again for food.

I wish they had more drink options that are not coffee. My sister does enjoy the coffee options ! The avocado toast is really good and it's a perfect spot to get coffee and go for a walk or get breakfast with the fam
