I worked graveyard here for about 2 months back in the summer of 1986. I was living out of my van most of that time; I would swill enormous quantities of malt liquor to get to sleep during the day. While I was working, people would come in and steal everything in sight because I was too trusting and gullible. There was all manner of drugging and debauchery going on all around me, though I rarely got caught up in it. One exception being the night another employee with a drug habit & a reputation for violence showed up with a buddy who I'd worked with at Domino's about three years previous. We did a bunch of coke in the back that night. The next day I was fired because $50 had mysteriously come up missing from the lottery till. I tried to warn the owners that it was the other employee who was responsible, and that he would likely create problems for them later on if they didn't fire him too. I haven't worked or lived in West Seattle since, but in spite of this - and other less than honorable behavior - I look back on my two years living on Delridge Way with fondness.

You know that mini mart you go to because its the only one in town and it doesn't seem updated since it was opened but you don't care because you don't want to walk or drive farther? Well this is just like that except there are other mini marts right next to it. Growing up I used to walk to the store all the time because it was family owned and they were really really nice people. They had cheaper little candies and a slushie machine, yes I said slushie not slurpee. Slushies are so much better than slurpees but that's not relevant anymore because it was gone after new management years ago.The building has a nice mural on one side and they struggle with graffiti almost on a weekly basis it seems but they seem to always cover it up as soon as they see it. The parking lot used to be somewhat big but now it holds food trucks that i never see open or trailers and it always seems crowded now from the restaurants on the other side of street. Super 24 to me it seems pretty old and dirty inside, The whole layout of the store is cramped and weird and the hot food looks questionable. The person working usually is nice but to be honest, I always walk to the next mini mart because its cleaner and doesn't make me question how old some of the product has been sitting there.

Don't let the name mislead you - this place is NOT open 24 hours. But if you want to pay 12 bucks for olive oil, this is your spot.

The selection of bum wines is stellar. Cisco, Md 20/20, Four Loko all in multiple flavors and vintages it is a paradice for the discerning severe drunk on a budget. If groceries to you mean fried bologna sandwiches and a chilled glass of peach flavored mad dog..this place is up your alley.
