Sunny Teriyaki

Affordable and tasty food. Quick with service as well. Friendly staff, I would come back here again.

It does the job when you want teriyaki and if you don't want to go too far. The chicken teriyaki was average, the sauce was a bit too sweet and salty, but only noticeable if you've had a lot of teriyaki before. I wish they would at least fill the side salad container... it's just iceberg lettuce after all. The chicken katsu was a bit too thin, so it was dry, but stayed crispy for take out. I also wish the katsu came with a side salad, but it just comes with rice. Super generous rice portion. It comes with a bed of rice under the meat and an extra scoop on the side container in the take out box.

I've lived in Seattle for 20 years. If there is a classic teriyaki spot in your mind this is the one. Ideal lunch or dinner for a good price .

Amazing food but consider plugging your ears. When you go through the drive-through, they have that speaker cranked up to 11.

Solid teriyaki joint. Good portions and ok price. It was about $18 after tax and tip for teriyaki chicken breast, an egg roll, rice, and salad. Definitely upped the price due to rent and labor costs in Seattle. I have to say the meat is a little dry. I got the teriyaki sauce on the side and only used it to add some moisture to the dish. Otherwise it's usually a bit sweet for me. But a good value, especially the lunch chicken bowl for $8.

Overall good food! A bit pricey for Teriyaki, especially if you're making any modifications like adding stir fried veggies, but you get enough food for 2-3 meals! Service is friendly and they are usually pretty quick to get your food. Spicy chicken was not spicy at all. Their sauce is kind of salty so I'd be curious if they can make veggies or chicken without it and get it on the side?Either way, this is a good stop for take out. Small shop so not a lot of seating or parking nearby.

Spicy chicken and chicken teriyaki were very good. The portions were fair for the price and I went back numerous times while in Seattle. Only gripe or please give s bigger teriyaki sauce container

Felt like some teriyaki while in Ballard and found this place. Typical teriyaki spot but the food is good. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Food and service are acceptable. Ordering from web site has a built in markup and the online ordering service (menu11) is a terrible experience. I failed to place an order due to some technical reason so I just walked to the store to order take out. I'm not likely to do this when I'm in a hurry and I won't try ordering online again.
