Sunny Teriyaki

In A Nutshell:-Sunny Teriyaki is a good place to grab this original NW comfort food...chicken teriyaki.-Yep, you can't visit Washington w/out eating at least one serving of teriyaki.-They have a nice $6.99 weekday (M-F) lunch special.-It comes w/ a small portion of chicken teriyaki over a bed of white rice, a tiny salad, a gyoza & a soda or bottled water.-It's a decent deal.Overall, they serve great tasting teriyaki.

This was some of the best teriyaki chicken I've had! The portions are quite large. You can easily get 2 meals out of one order making the price of $13.49 seem pretty good.

Teriyaki the way it should be. No frills, no extras. Tasty. Large portions. Good price.

So this is a solid teriyaki restaurant. The owners are very friendly and nice. The food is generally very good. I had one occasion where a friend of mine and I sat down to eat and when the food arrived my chicken was maybe room temperature bordering on cold. This has only happened once so they get a pass this time.

Pretty good. Not my favorite teriyaki establishment in Marysville, but I heard it was good so my friend picked some up for us. My friend says the rice tastes floral, but I thought it was fine. She got a chicken and beef combo with a side of gyoza. I got teriyaki chicken and rice. The whole bottom portion of the to-go container was filled with rice and the top is bed of teriyaki chicken. I liked the sweet teriyaki sauce and the chicken were nice big pieces. I didn't try the gyoza, but my friend says they were soft and not crunchy. It looks like it wasn't a soft crispy but she likes it a little more deep fried so it wasn't her favorite item.

All of this for $11.99 plus tax?? Soooo happy to have found this place! Literally a hidden gem and the owner is so sweet! Heaping mounds of chicken, bed of rice, with salad, a drink, fortune cookie and if you dine in complimentary miso soup!! Since we were dining in she actually brought all of our food to the table. That kind of service at a teriyaki joint, that would be a first for me! Please give this place a try if you haven't already!!

The food is always good, portions are always bigger than other places we have been to.My only complaint is the website menu prices are not current. The food is still worth it but would like to know how much we're going to pay.

Food is delicious and taste fresh just order in advance if you are in a rush so your wait time is shorter.

Our food was not good. The place was busy with take out. Clients were backed up waiting on food. I think the cook may have panicked. Won't be back even if they are giving it away. Ugh

Great service and price, canned drink always included. The food is so good and filling!! Me and my family come here every time we come to Tulilip.
