Sunny Teriyaki

Price is a bit higher than other teriyaki places but they restaurant is clean and offers complimentary hot egg drop soup with veggies. The portion is excellent. The staff is not super friendly but not rude either. Standard service. The main thing is that the facility is clean, hoping that the kitchen is also as clean as the store front. Would definitely come back. Cleaner than most places and super cute soup station.

First step walking into this place, it feels clean and new. Also the staff is very friendly, fountain drinks are available with free refills. My favorite part: This is the only Teriyaki establishment I've ever been to that didn't upcharge you for the Spicy Teriyaki option, anywhere else they want a dollar more. So I never order it, but here it's the same price as the regular teriyaki ($11.99).The food is amazing, and the service is quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite here in the Seattle / Burien area.

Love this Teriyaki spot! With a large L! Clean, fast and friendly! Seriously, the lady that is at the counter is so adorable. She's kind and so hardworking. The teriyaki chicken is what I usually get. The portions are so large I usually take half home. The chicken is juicy, not over cooked. Nice portion of salad. 2 scoops of perfectly cooked sticky rice. The dressing for the salad is so bomb! I mean really! Not too vinegary, not too sweet! Just perfect! All in all I love this place and will continue to patronize and sing hi praises!

We ordered a few things: California roll - 5 stars, Mongolian beef - 3 stars (tasted more like bulgogi), general tso's chicken - 3 stars (reminded me of sweet & sour chicken) & yakisoba - 3 stars (it couldve used more flavor). Overall, the food wasn't bad but it wasnt memorable either.

I love Sunny's. It's one of my favorite places to pickup teriyaki. The owners are very nice and personable and the food is delicious. I often work out at the gym nearby and would call in an order for chicken teriyaki, no sauce, no salad, brown rice and extra chicken and there was never an issue with the complexity of my order. Most times I call in and places either won't do no salad or if they do they don't fill up the container with rice, but Sunny's does and there wasn't an issue with brown rice or no sauce. I just liked knowing that it tasted good, I could always get my order and the smell was mouth watering (from the gym).Really friendly staff and good food. Solid teriyaki joint.

Very nice teriyaki joint in a Burien strip mall...THE ROSES: Extremely clean and tidy dining room. Very pleasant proprietor. They offer complimentary egg drop soup for patrons to enjoy. Fair prices.THE THORNS: None worth mentioning.THE VERDICT: Solid little teriyaki restaurant that does what it does well. Highly recommend.

I chose dine in, even with the pungent smell of cleaner in the air. A little less Fabuluso please. The food is what you would expect from a teriyaki chicken restaurant. Nothing special about the menu, your normal stuff. The service was good, polite, friendly and brings your food out to you,...in styrofoam. The nightly news was on the tv telling grim stories. Can I suggest something more family friendly or entertaining?! Not taking away, I am sure this place is great for take out. But dine in is a no repeat for me.

I've been coming here the past 4 years for their 'hot chicken' and it's always been consistently delicious. Is it just me or did they change the recipe? I will come back one more time to update my review once again whenever I'm craving for it again.

Tried the hot chicken based on other reviews and it did not disappoint! Definitely spicy but a really good flavor, and slight crunchiness to it. Also friendly people inside. I'll be back

Best Spicy Chicken Teriyaki I have ever had!! Plus he gives you the bottles of sauce to use at your dispense while you're eating without paying for extra sauce. Definitely recommend.
