The interior was clean and we were seated right away. The service was quick and the food arrived quickly as well. The coffee was average drip quality. I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with crispy hash browns. As I said, the food came quickly. The eggs were done, just right for over medium. The hashbrowns were cooked, but not crispy. The entire hash brown was soft potato. Interestingly enough, I could've upgraded to a different kind of hash brown that resembles a tater tot. Not much of an upgrade. The country gravy was satisfactory on the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak, however was either deep-fried in a fryer with dirty oil or it was really overcooked. The meat inside was dry and the outer crispy part was dark brown and had a bitter taste to it, like it had been burnt.I would be willing to give it another try at this place. I don't know that I will order the chicken fried steak again though.

Solid little basic breakfast joint in Renton. Interior is clean, not cluttered and has a very open feel. Inside is very diner-esque, which you wouldn't get that vibe from looking at the exterior. Food came out pretty quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I ordered a pancake and it was pretty big, split the biscuits and gravy with my sister and mom got the cali benedict. The pancake was really solid, crispy and just dense enough. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good too, not too salty. The hash browns were okay, a little cold. Overall, really good experience and prices weren't steep.

The service was good the Ambiance bright with plenty of natural light!!My husband was raving about this place because he tried it on his lunch break. So I went on a date with my husband for breakfast I ordered pancakes bacon and eggs my eggs were slightly overcooked and my pancakes and bacon sadly we're not anything extraordinary!! I also ordered a mimosa but it's easy to make mimosas, especially when you pour yourself My husband breakfast not to bad, he did not bother eating his hash browns as you can see in the picture they're very undercooked. Also ordered a Hawaiian coffee which was served somewhat lukewarm I did not bother to finish. The presentation of the food was good but the taste and quality not so good maybe we caught the chef on a bad day, but at least I tried based upon a friends recommendation and my husband's recommendation.

I came here with a group of friends for brunch. This restaurant used to be a Starbucks but they moved to another location closeby. There's plenty of parking around the plaza. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed it was not full with lots of seatings. The interior was bright, reminds me like you're in a classic diner. As I joined my party, we were seated immediately. The menu was very standard and has all your basic breakfast/lunch foods. Prices are a bit hefty. I decided to order the farmer's omelet which includes sausage, ham, onion, bell pepper, and cheese with a side of toast and hashbowns. Overall, I thought my breakfast platter was just average. Nothing too special except if you want to shell out some cash. I understand that they're fairly new, my meal should not cost $20 with tips. Imo I think you're better off going to IHOP just for the cost and the variety in general.

We live a few minutes away and are excited to have a local cafe now down the street! It is a bit pricey but does make sense per the small business aspect - I.e for the price charged, if you went to a chain you would probably get a side of pancakes/toast in addition to your omelet/entree whereas here you do not get that. I ordered the vegetable omelet and my husband got the chicken fried steak. We were both pleased with our orders and the quality of how the food turned out. The veggie omelet had a lot of flavor and generous amount of vegetables inside. My husband noted the chicken fried steak had decent flavor and was very crispy on the outside. We came around 10:30am on a Saturday and didn't have to wait for a table but by the time we were checking out, we did have to wait a little to get the check as the restaurant filled.Staff is very friendly, restaurant is decently sized, and it was clean during our visit. Support local and check it out!

I do wish they offered more vegetarian or vegan options; unfortunately, choices were limited during my visit. The service was decent, and the ambiance leans towards a diner style. As for the food, I ordered the plain buttermilk pancakes which were just okay. It's worth noting they didn't have many vegetarian or vegan choices at the time, but they mentioned they're working on expanding their menu in that regard.

Simple food, can't go wrong. 4 good sized Swedish crepes are a great portion. Portion sizes are great and the prices are reasonable. With drinks, two breakfasts and two extra sides it was ~$45 including a tip. Lots of options for breakfast and for sides. Great service, prompt and friendly. Great new place with cool decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Would really recommend giving it a try!

Had a friend visit from out of town and wanted to try someplace I haven't been before. It's a humble cafe with a charming diner vibe. Our waitress was cordial and gave great service. The food came out promptly and everything we ordered was delicious. Especially the fries... I'm gonna have to go back just to get more fries It was a little on the expensive side, but where can you go these days without feeling the effects of inflation?

I really want to love this place and give it a great review given its location, small business, etc. Unfortunately, it lands at 3 stars.I have been twice now, and believe this is a fair review. The service the first time was excellent and was good the second. The kids meals are good, with excellent portions and a very good value. If you want to take your kids and just enjoy coffee, this place is a 5 stars. They lose me on the adult entrees though. I know things have gotten more expensive, but $18 for an omelet is outrageous, especially one with american rather than cheddar cheese. The hasbrowns were undercooked, and the coffee is slightly better than average.Tommy's, Apogee, Doofers, The Spot are all local places that are substantially less expensive for them same, if not better breakfast food. While none of them are as well-lit and clean, there are gives and takes.

I'd enjoy being stuck in a Groundhog Day-esque time loop where my breakfast experience here is reset every time I finish a meal with the only way to release myself being a very specific combination of menu items and beverages. Knowing that the amount of possible combinations could take me eons to work through, I'd feel miffed if I happened to stumble upon the right combination within the first 1-5 years. Its pretty good, yum
