Love this place! Food is consistently good and fresh. The servers are fabulous and friendly. And now they have happy hour so, what could go wrong?

Pros: EXCELLENT SERVICE. Our server was attentive and consistently check on us and refilled our drinks. Appetizers were good! Cons: Both Ramen's lacked flavor. The egg was over cooked and there weren't any additional ingredients. Very plain. 2 imitation crabs pieces, 1 egg, and a piece of pork. We choose to ask for the "spicy tray" to add extra flavor. The sushi tray was also disappointing. The food was not cold. One roll was an imitation crab nigiri One roll was egg nigiri. For the price point I would have expected the nigiri's to be ALL fish. * the Salmon,Tuna , Octopus, Yellow Tail nigiri's were DELICIOUS . If you come here, opt for these pieces.

Love the ambience here! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. The food came out fresh and fast and the place is impeccably clean. The beef drunken noodles were fantastic. We also got pork pad thai and chicken massaman. The portion was a little small but flavor was on point for the massaman. Absolutely recommend!

Sumo sushi has a great ambiance. It is bright and colorful. The decoration is very welcoming and spacious. The place super clean and plenty of tables. I love the parking in the back and the price is really reasonable. The staff is nice and courteous as well.

I was genuinely shocked about how good this sushi was. Both rolls were absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh and the rolls were bigger than average for the price. I also appreciate that they deliver with the sauces on the side. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Was greeted when I walked in by myself and everyone was so welcoming and friendly, made me feel like it was part of my family from the start! Delicious food and the co-owner/chef asked what I enjoyed and meet suggestions from there. The sushi was extra fresh and the different combinations of fish he put in rolls and appetizers was phenomenal! Cannot wait to return and highly recommend! And I know my sushi... Oishi kata!

We just moved to the neighborhood and we're super excited to eat here and try it out. I hate to brag on myself but I love Thai food. I'd say I'm an expert but all my friends would say I just really like food. You say what you want, I'll say that I'll go here again. My husband got phô and I had chicken friend rice (because I'm an expert, remember). We went mid day during the weekday and it was empty but I could see how this place could be fun for a dinner date. The bathrooms were super clean and the staff had my drink refilled before I even noticed it was running low. I recommend

I had a wonderful meal at Sumo Sushi Thai & Bar. I was in the area, and if it had not been for the two employees outside handing out menus, I am not sure if I would have ended up there, but happy I did. This is an outpost of their Bell Road restaurant - Yoshi Sushi and Thai and they have only been open 5-days.Service:The staff could not have been any nicer or helpful. They offered menu suggestions, were super attentive and made me feel like I was one of their closest friends. Vibe:The space is comfortable, but a little cavernous. I spoke with the Sushi Chef, who is one of the family members who owns the restaurant, and he said it is still a work in progress. The mural on the wall was a custom mural and super fun. Food:On this trip I stuck with Sushi and it was fresh and delicious. I had both the R&B Roll (Spicy Crab, Cucumber, Topped with Tuna, Avocado Spicy Mayo, and Eel Sauce) and Ruby Roll (Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, Topped with Tuna, Avocado, Crunchy and Special Sauce). I definitely plan on going back and trying some of their Thai dishes.On a related note, I spoke with a couple from Ohio who decided not to wait in line at a nearby well-known hot chicken restaurant and I said they had made a great choice. I ran into them later that evening and they too had nothing but rave reviews of Sumo Sushi Thai & Bar.I would definitely recommend you try this place!

We enjoyed our lunch here! We were seated right away and the food came out in a timely fashion. The food was delicious and our waitress was great!

The sushi happy hour is great. I also enjoy the Beef LoMein. The service is always excellent.
