Sumo All You Can Eat Sushi

I recently dined at Sumo Sushi and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the sushi. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive.I ordered a variety of nigiri and rolls. The salmon nigiri was particularly impressive, with fresh, buttery fish that practically melted in my mouth. The Spicy Tuna Roll had the right amount of kick and was beautifully presented.Overall, Sumo Sushi offers great sushi at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual and enjoyable sushi experience.

Most of the photos here show nigiri and sashimi but we went here for lunch, which means a lot of rolls. We came as a party of 5 so we managed to order pretty much everything on the lunch menu. The rolls were pretty tasty but were basically combinations of the same things: fish, veggies, rice and sauce dribbled on top. We also ordered karage (very dry and not good), tempura shimp (I think frozen), unagi don and salmon don (thank goodness just small platters). The rolls came in sizes of 2 to 6 pieces) which meant 1-2 pieces for each of us, which meant we could try more.They also had a side bar of salads, appetizers, soup, fruit and dessert. Overall, it was a lot better than my expectation. It scratched my itch so much that I don't think I'll be having sushi rolls for a long time.

We tried going here the other day before our movie but the wait was 30 minutes. Weeks since we didn't have enough time to wait before our movie. We went back today and there was a 30 minute wait again. This time, we stayed. When we got seated, we were told that we had 90 minutes since there's quite a bit of people waiting. You order online using the QR code on the table. You can order up to 10 items every 15 minutes and if you have any leftovers, they will charge you. They have robots that deliver some of your dishes to your table. There are still servers around who deliver the other dishes. Some of the staff were friendly but there was another girl who seemed annoyed when we asked a question. I'll let it go this time but if she's rude to us again next time, I'll call her out. Everything is good so far. The mango roll was our fave. We'd love to go back and hopefully be served by better staff.

Sushi is fresh and tasty! Little salad bar with soup, fried food and dessert could be a bit more elevated and replenished as the food runs out! Service was good and wait time not bad at all! I'm used to unlimited options at AYCE sushi restaurants coming from LA but the food was pretty decent!Another cool thing was the robot delivering the food.

My experience here was an interesting one. For starters, the parking lot was relatively full and feared I would have to resort to street parking at around 12pm. I went here with a group of four people and we got seated quickly.You order your sushi using a QR code, and you can only place 10 orders every 15 minutes. Any extra sushi you don't finish also gets charged onto your bill. Robots would bring your orders to your table. At first the service was quite slow, and portions were very small for the sushi we got for the first 10 orders. My group finished our 10 orders quickly but had to wait to place in our next orders. If we tried to place an order, we would get a warning on our phones that we need to wait a specified amount of time before putting in the order. But throughout our almost 2-hour stay here, we were getting a ton of sushi in more appropriate sizes for our 5-person group, and they kept coming. There was probably an issue where our failed orders from before were actually still going through, and this also reflected on our receipt when we saw six orders of the ninja roll (which we did not order).Overall, this place works better with smaller groups as it would take longer to finish 10 orders than with a larger group. Food was very delicious, and our table left being more than satisfied regardless! Expect to stay here for quite a long while because of the 15-minute limit on placing orders.

Delicious and delightful. I've been to the Tacoma location, and the atmosphere in Kent feels more open and clean. This AYCE buffet is my go-to spot for many affordable dishes (e.g. salmon, tuna, eel) and offers many appetizer options. The special rolls are on the saucy side. Highly recommend the unagi and TNT scallop roll.

Great SERVICE!!!! Yummy food!!!Cute place for casual dinning spot. Good location with big parking lots.

quality of food is good, small portions so you won't get as full fast. Only problem I have is they don't have as many options compared to others.
