Summit Foods Mart

I'm fortunate enough to have at least 3 small grocery stores within a 2 block radius of home but Summit Foods gets most of my business. Why?They have just about everything I need. My cat's favorite brand of food, frozen pizza, good selection of beer and wine, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and the guy at the counter is always friendly.Heck, my six year old even likes the place, to him it's the neighborhood candy store. Growing up, I always had a place to spend my pocket change on candy, and for him it's Summit Foods.One thing they don't have, which a place like this usually does, is porn - this is clearly a family oriented small grocery. That's OK with me, because otherwise I wouldn't bring my kid here for his candy. But what the heck, this is Capitol Hill, and you can find just about anything you want a few blocks up the hill on Broadway.

Closes at midnight, we arrived late to our Airbnb, and wanted some drinks. This store was the only store opened at that time in the neighborhood, so we checked it out. It has pretty much has all the ''needs'' to get through the night. Huge collection of red wine and plenty frozen food selection! Price was on the higher side (which is why I took off one star), look at 'em price tags so the overall total didn't surprise you. (it sure did surprise me...) But ayy, convenient comes with a price.

Gotta show some love for my neighborhood convenience store. This place has good late hours and a surprisingly solid selection for a store this size. You can find most of what you need to get by here, and the folks are friendly. Plus, I remember stopping into stores like this when I was a kid, and you just don't get that nostalgic feeling as much at QFC.

The owner of this place is super friendly and he loves to joke around which always puts me in a good mood. The store has practically everything you need for any type of late night munchie which a great selection of wine and beer. Prices are gonna be higher than the nearby QFC but it's a small business, what do you expect. 12/10 recommend if you live nearby. Also fun fact this little mini mart is featured in one of Macklemore's music videos!

Always friendly staff, great selection of things you may need last minute. Sauces, late night snacks etc. open late.

We're in town from California and wanted to stock our air bnb with snacks, drinks, and supplies to make breakfast. We planned to go to Safeway but half our group thought this market would have everything and the rest of us thought they wouldn't. But they did! Literally, potatoes, onions, garlic, coffee creamer, eggs, bacon, plus beer and soda. It was convenient, the owner was friendly, and the prices weren't too much more than Safeway would've been.

This place is great! It has an array of food and drink options, the staff/owners are nice too which is a plus.

Summit market is back in the game. The owner does a remarkable job of making high purchased products available and his family pitches in to help. I am happy to see their safe covid-19 practices in force. I wouldn't shop here elsewise.
