Summit Diner

Stopped in the other day for breakfast with my son and everything was good. Quick service, food came out super fast, my crispy bacon was perfect and I like the choices in flavored creamers. My over medium eggs were made exactly right. Just a basic breakfast, but it was good. Would like to try them for lunch.

I came here this morning with my dog. It was around 7:10am and we sat on the patio. I asked if that was ok. There was one woman working and she brought me a menu, took my order, and brought me and my dog some water when I asked. She never smiled, welcomed me in or even came back to check on me once she brought my 2 eggs with bacon, cottage cheese instead of potatoes, and 1 scrambled egg for my dog.I would have liked some salt and pepper, my table wiped down, and the check correct. I was the only one here. The bill came and there was a $1.19 charge because I substituted cottage cheese for potatoes, and I was charged for 2 scrambled eggs, not 1. I do not mind paying a fee for substitutions but they usually tell me. They gave me maybe 1/4 of a cup of cottage cheese. She fixed the extra egg charge but acted like I was putting her out.Food was nothing special, service poor, and the outside area dirty. Again, this place is nothing special and I wish I had gone some place else.

Food is average at best. Service has a lot to be desired. Was the only one there on a Saturday afternoon for a light dinner. It was more important for the 3 young servers to play on their phones than to take my order. Finally had to walk to the counter and beg for a server. Once finally served I had to go to the counter and beg them to let me pay my bill. What's wrong with this picture? Highly recommend you stay away from this place.

The best item I've found here isn't even on the menu. It was offered as a special several years ago and they continue to make it when I ask. What is it? It's their Buffalo Chicken Wrap. I've tried to find another buffalo wrap in Phoenix that compares, but I've given up finding another one.Everything is perfect about the wrap - the spice level is just right, the chicken is good, the tortilla is good too.

I have been here many times while visiting town, and each time it has been solid. It's your typical diner in all the ways that could mean. Service is also extremely quick, the food will be at your table within 10 minutes of ordering, usually faster. I have always been for breakfast personally but know they are open for lunch and dinner as well. All the breakfast dishes I have ordered have been great so far and the cinnamon roll is especially decadent and delicious. I will be back many times in the future, each time I visit town.

Bright spot for breakfast and lunch. Food comes out quick, service is usually good, it was a nice experience with a toddler in tow- bonus is this service breakfast cocktails!

Breakfast was okay. I was given my bill. I paid cash. After I got home I noticed that on my receipt was a 3 percent technology fee. I wish I would have looked at my final receipt before I left. It seems a bit underhanded that it wasn't in my bill and I paid cash. We won't be going back.

There are much better breakfast options around.We went in early on. Sunday. The place was dead. Service was not particularly friendly but not awful. All of the food was mediocre at best, but came out cold, and the coffee was pretty awful. All that for 70 bucks for a couple and two young kids. Maybe this place is better for lunch and dinner, but there are many better choices for breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast. Food was out within a couple minutes of ordering. Everything was perfect, fluffy eggs and pancakes, crispy bacon and hashbrowns. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a casual diner experience
