Suki Hana is one of the best options in the UTC food court if you're looking for bang for your buck. They load plates with protein and list the calories, making it a great stop for anyone watching their diet! I definitely recommend getting the Chicken Teriyaki.

Formerly Sarku Japan is Suki Hana now. Still, selection #1 is chicken teriyaki with white rice and veggies for $11.99 (you can ask for water for free in a styrofoam cup). The portion is humongous, a lot of chicken (which is the only good thing),but even more rice (nothing special) and little of veggies (which is meh). Service is ok, pay first, get a number to be called on and a card for future references. I will be looking for another option on a Westfield food court next time, if I'm in La Jolla.

I did not have high expectations for the food court food but the food here are terrible. The place not open until 11:30 on Sunday. I got chicken and shrimp teriyaki noodle. The shrimp are under cook and the noodle has too much oil. The taste is not good as all. Also vegetables they added in just the blank stem vegetables.Customer service is ok. Not friendly at all.

This location used to be Sarku Japan, but the popular Chicken Teriyaki--which comes with rice and vegetables--remains as combo #1. Combo #1 also tastes the same and this is great news because the chicken is flavorful, succulent, and crispy. Don't be afraid to ask for extra sauce because that sweet and savory sauce is divine. Combo #1 is a simple but satisfying dish, and will fit nearly any caloric budget at just 640. Considering inflation, the $11.99 price is also fair.ChatGPT did not elucidate the differences between Sarku Japan and Suki Hana. Please message me if you are able to!

This is one of my go to places for getting a decent amount of food for what you pay for! I never finish the food in one sitting because of the amount given. I always get the chicken teriyaki plate which comes with a generous side of vegetables and I usually upgrade to have plain chow mein instead of rice. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and tender. It's so simple, but so delicious! The service is pleasant and fast. The longest I've waited for my food is a little over 15 minutes when it's busy. It's also nice you can see the food being cooked on the grill and receive the food freshly made. It's located in a well-kept food court with plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for fast, very reasonably priced meal at the UTC Mall!

This place is a great healthy alternative to the standard greasy Asian fast food served in food courts. The portions are enormous, so if you're like me, then this can be split into lunch and dinner. The noodles are layered with cabbage and carrots, then topped with choice steak & chicken. Plus, the sauces are sweet & tangy, and they accompany the thick savory noodles perfectly... Arigato, Suki Hana!

Great portion for affordable price with juicy chicken and tasty flavor! The chicken is much better than beef. My favorite place to grab lunch at the UTC food court. It's made fresh in front of you. They also give stamp cards if you come here frequently and you can redeem a free one.

There was a teriyaki place at the mall pre-Covid that served up a huge mound of food. Sadly they've closed. Since the world reopened after/ during Covid I'd been craving that same chicken teriyaki. On a recent stroll through the food court, I noticed a new player in town. Suki Hana has come thru and opened serving up similar teriyaki dishes. Prices are similar to the previous operation, maybe slightly higher prices. That's somewhat expected due to the higher costs of operation these days. Still a good deal for the mall. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and shrimp combo. Both were cooked to perfection. Shrimp were plump and not over cooked while the chicken was tender and juicy. It was served on a bed of steamed rice and accompanied by steamed veggies. Don't forget to ask for sauces if needed. Keep on Yelp'n!

Pretty solid place to grab food at the food court of UTC. They give generous portions and a lot of meat. If you're pretty hungry, this is a great meal for its price. We got the teriyaki chicken and they make it on the spot so your food is super warm and fresh when you get it. It's also pretty fast so you don't have to wait for long. This is pretty similar to the place before it, the dishes offered are pretty much the same. This would be one of our go to places at the mall if we need a quick bite at the food court.
