Where do I begin?! What a unique and sleek sushi venue! I had friends in town from Vegas and we all were so excited to check it out! The ambiance, sushi & staff was impeccable! Most of all, we were so grateful to meet Sharon (Sugo Hand-roll MGR). She really welcomed us! She made us unique fruity shots & specialty hand rolls that were so delish! I really appreciated how amazing we were treated. We enjoyed every detail of our lunch that we went back for dinner. I highly recommend for any event, lunch or dinner. They also host corporate events. I unfortunately had so much fun that I didn't take any pictures but my lovely Filipino friend was so diligent on creating the memory! Thanks to Tito for taking care us today, and so sorry to everyone that the last time my friends came (without me) with their really really blackout drunk friend. You remember them! The ikura hand roll is still my favourite!

Walked by this place on a Sunday afternoon and saw that it was their happy hour so we came in and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated for a table of 7. Restaurant didn't seem too busy. All the food was delicious! The salmon and scallop handrolls were my favorite. Would definitely recommend and come back! Staff was super friendly, service was good, and ambiance was nice.

Strongly recommend the happy hour specials! We got a whole bunch of things to try and I liked everything we ordered! I can only include 10 photos, but we had the norichos, Inari pockets (not vegetarian!), and chicken karaage for sides and then for hand rolls we had: torched eel, king salmon, tempura shrimp, crispy tofu, spicy scallop, and truffle avocado. They do have several vegetarian options which is nice too. I liked the tofu and scallops the most. The drinks were also really really good and I'd highly recommend any of the cocktails. Service was fine - they seemed really busy as we had to flag down the server a few times and couldn't order from the sushi chefs at the station. They were great at answering questions before we ordered though! The ambiance was fun - casual and lively! We'd definitely come back and plan to!

Highly recommend coming right when they open for HH, this is when you'll find the best deals and optimal seating!If you're looking for a Sugarfish or other hand roll equivalent restaurant, you have found you need spot. I didn't take any photos of my hand rolls as I was too busy eating them but I highly recommend picking their pre-set roll options. It wasn't too busy so we got our hand rolls fairly quickly and didn't have to wait too long between rounds. We did order some additional food to eat and the absolute best bang for your buck is the salmon chirasi bowl. I would come back just to order this because the salmon is good quality and the size of the bowl is enough for two to share. The chicken karaage was alright, definitely have had better ones elsewhere. The boba cocktail was also just alright but I personally don't think bubble tea and alcohol should mix so it's probably just personal preference. 10/10 would come back for more!

My girlfriend and I were in Seattle for our anniversary and friend of ours were in Seattle before us and recommended Sugo as we have a really good Hand Roll bar in Cali. Sugo definitely lived up to our expectations and was delicious! The service was good, they were attentive and made sure we had our waters filled at all times. The ambiance is also really nice. Buzzing with conversation, it felt like we were all in one party and made the dinner go by smoothly. The only reason I give it a 4 starts is because I wish the cocktails were more thought out. They used soju as a base for their drinks, and because of that I think they could be a bit more creative with it. However, our drinks were still delicious.

Sugo was my first experience at a hand roll sushi bar, and I did not know what to expect. I ended up being blown away by the food, the service and the vibe. Very friendly staff, sushi chefs were knowledgeable on the food being served. Shoutout to Tito and Johnny for creating such amazing handrolls. Definitely a must go when in Seattle, and I can't wait to come back.

I've been here a couple of times and had a really great experience. I've gotten the king salmon, crispy shrimp & snow crab rolls - all super fresh and delicious! Also love their edamame, miso soup shooters & the strawberry matcha is divine. Sharon served us and she was super sweet, funny and professional. Love the vibe and aesthetic of the place too :)

JONNY!! he will treat you right here! we stopped in on a HH Friday afternoon and had some amazing and high quality hand rolls. the girls who served us were wonderful and quick. spicy shrimp was definitely our favorite roll and much spicier than we anticipated which was a lovely surprise :)) highly recommend this place! ambiance is chill and had old school r&b playing in the back.
