Super cool spot to check out in Seattle. Service is great and they are friendly. It is a good spot to check out for dinner and drinks with friends. The theme of the restaurant is really cool and different from other places. The drinks are fun and they have many options! I would come here again!

Great ambience, good vibes and good energy. The food is also really good too. The pad see ew I had there last week was as good as I've ever had. Perfect for a first date...or fifth, or 50th... I've been a handful of times and I plan to keep going.

sugar hill has the best music i've heard anywhere in seattle - with 90s-2000s hip hop classics and a live dj on the weekends. the decor is super cool, with the walls covered in old vinyls with artists from aaliyah to jay-z. the staff and the vibes here make it one of my favorite places to hang in downtown.really liked the dishes we got - really flavorful and tender! only wish would be for a larger portion of the 50/50, was pretty small for the price. they did just start a new happy hour with half price all food and drinks - super excited to check it out!!they also have a super cool party every friday night in collaboration with @cuffinseattle that i've been meaning to check out - all r&b and hip hop classics pictured: the 50/50: khao mun gai (poached chicken, fragrant rice, winter melon soup, homemade ginger soy bean sauce) and khao mun gai tod (deep fried chicken thigh, fragrant rice, winter melon soup, sweet chili sauce) pla lard prik: deep fried whole golden pompano, spicy garlic tamarind sauce, basil

We came for dinner during the week and it was popping. The food was good, but not as good as other thai places I've had in the city. They seem to be going for a high end restaurant type of feel, with small plates that weren't really worth it in my opinion as it was just plated nicely. The food didn't wow me for the price it was charging and the small portions. And personally everything was a bit too salty and sour.

This place is a really cool hybrid Thai restaurant and hip hop bar, which is honestly a pretty weird combination, but I can only speak for the bar portion since I didn't get any food.I really enjoyed my experience here, even though I didn't stay for long since I was bar hopping with a friend. The upstairs bar area had really cool decor and lighting that was very vaporwave-esque, and definitely complimented the aesthetic of the place. There are also records lined on the shelves downstairs, and they play some old school rnb and hip hop, which I also really liked. I only got one drink, Bass'd, which was a Thai tea cocktail with Hennessy. The drink itself was pretty strong but tasted really good, as I'm especially a sucker for tea or Asian inspired drinks. The rest of their drinks are also inspired by Thai flavors. I went during a weeknight so I'm not sure how busy it usually gets, but I definitely want to come back to try their other drinks.

I frequented Sugar Hill on the weekends to dance in my younger years. I didn't know they also serve food. I enjoyed the food here. I ordered moo ping one of my fav Thai dishes. Although the skewers were small, they were grilled perfectly and the tamarind based sauce complimented it very well. I also ordered thum tang, cucumber salad to pair with the meat. I made the mistake of ordering 5 stars, it was definitely Thai spicy not American spicy. My mouth was on fire. Drinks were strong. Got the Banana clip and Bass'd. This unique flavors of Hennessy and Thai tea sparked my interest and I was glad I tried it.Lights are dim with hip hop music in the background. Perfect place to catch up with girlfriends or have a date night.

really awesome happy hour deal -- 50% off everything. We got drinks and apps to share. Some apps were very shareable like fries were great, other apps were pretty small (fresh rolls, crab rangoons were small). Pretty empty when we got there but cool music playing!

We had a reservation on a Saturday night but it wasn't necessary. Our party of five was given the option to sit upstairs or downstairs. There was more space upstairs so we opted for that. Our server/bartender, Kenny, took great care of us, was knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. This was the best pad Thai I've ever had. The portion was large and I was frustrated that I couldn't finish it all. I ordered mine with chicken and a level 3 of spice- your server will be able to explain this to you. I enjoy spicy food and it was perfect. I also had a watermelon margarita, which is one of their seasonal drinks. It was fine but I wouldn't order it again. Our table shared an order of chicken wings (not pictured). The wings were a bit salty but were perfectly crispy.

Here's an experience POV: It's like when a Fast & Furious principled type family runs a city lounge/bar, that features local & out of state DJs on the weekends, and serves bomb Thai street food, that ALSO happens to be down the street from their first family owned and operated restaurant that's been in the city for 30+ years And everyone who works in here is impeccably kind AF - unless you're a prude dick, of course
