We came right at 4pm when they opened and it immediately started becoming busy. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. They serve a wide variety of food from different regions of Thailand. IWe got the fried duck which was crunchy and had a sweet sauce. The pork belly was savory and came with a good amount of rice. The Isan sausage was nicely grilled. Overall we enjoyed everything we ordered.

TLDR: good flavor profile with odd service. We dined here visiting for a wedding and found the flavors enjoyable. Servers were attentive. They brought out entrees for our 3 person party one at a time - odd. So one person's entree came out first; second entree came out 4 min later and the third came out about 5 min later. We had hoped to all eat together but pretty much ended up watching each other eat. Odd. Outdoor seating is ok but kind of cramped with an umbrella pole in the middle. Coming from DC we have a high standard for Thai and this is OK.

What We Ate: Most of the menuWould Recommend? YesThis is a regular takeout spot for us and has yet to disappoint. Menu is diverse and has dishes from many regions of Thailand. Dishes are full of flavor and prices are fair.

Thai food in Porter Square! Very different experience here compared to the more common Thai spots that are casual, mom-and-pop vibes. Definitely a place I'd dine in over takeout, and I'd make sure to bring a group; many of their dishes are good for sharing/family-style (one per person is more than enough) and their menu has a lot of things you'll want to try because they are less common at other Thai eateries; also they have a cocktail menu for those who partake. No issues with the service here, food comes out pretty quick, and everything is prepared beautifully (see pictures). Additional notes, their menu is separated by different regions in Thailand and it's really pretty; also I came here for my birthday and they brought a really (emotionally) sweet dessert for the table with candles and everything. My favorite dishes are the Kaw Soi Moo Krab, the Crispy Giant Squid (served with a flavorful dipping sauce), and the Crispy Duck (doused in a yummy sauce while maintaining a good texture).

They have such an extensive menu featuring Thai dishes from different regions in Thailand and I am for sure coming back to try their other dishes! We got the Tom Yum Sukhothai which is different from the regular Tom yum but it was good with a mix of spicy and sweet. The crispy pork belly was amazing and we enjoyed the Pad Mee Korat. The portions are generous. However, the dishes do come on a heavier side where it's saltier/ sweeter than I personally would like. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings. It's quite busy during dinner hours but they were speedy in serving our food. Wait time was around 10 minutes for two on a Tuesday evening around 7pm. Staff were friendly and attentive!Food: 8.5/10Experience:8/10Service: 8/10 Value: 8.5/10

After many delivery orders I finally ate in the Sugar & Spice restaurant. Place was very busy but there were a few tables open inside. I had their chicken pad thai which was very good. The staff was very attentive and food came out pretty quickly despite how busy they were. While they do a good job with takeout orders it's always nice to be able to eat on site if you happen to be in the area.

Walked in and seated 12 of us for lunch on a Saturday pretty quickly. Everyone loved the food. Everything tends to be a bit more on the sweet side. And super spicy. Top dishes are crispy pork over rice and mango sticky rice. The lemongrass seafood soup was slightly too sour + sweet for my taste but still decent. Fast service.

I love when they open outdoor dining in the summer! -Crispy Giant Squid: delicious! Like the name says it is giant and crispy. Can't go wrong with ordering this as your appetizer. -Crispy Duck: half a boneless duck with sauce and rice. I liked the sauce on this-Chicken on fire: I love the presentation but the chicken was so so dry and flavorless. Drinks were pretty and tasty.

A fellow native Thai reviewer here soooo just trust me when one say this is an authentic Thai spot! This place is a cute whole in the wall/jack pot/hidden gem! It's located in Porter Square and was easy to find parking considering the busy area. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is adorable with flowers & string lights around the perimeter and outdoor umbrellas so you get some shade. It took a few minutes to get seated but service was quick. I started off with a Thai Milk Tea with boba to drink, the boba pearl was soft and chewy and milk tea itself was creamy. For an app, I got the Garlic Chicken wings which is crispy and came with a sweet chill sauce on the side to dip it in. I paired this with Som Tum Thai style (papaya salad) and sticky rice. I splurged and even got a frozen coconut smoothie with boba to go. My bill was under $50. Scoreeee!

Easily the best crab rangoons out of any Asian restaurant I've tried in the area.I liked the crying tiger and pad see ew.Their customer service is always good when I pick up orders. I don't think I've dined in before but the decor looks like a great place for a dinner.
