Sugar and Lace was happy to take our request on half a day's notice (after our initial cake arrived smushed!) and came back to me with a cake that looked absolutely gorgeous. It saved my friend's daughter's 1st birthday party, looked amazing in photos, and everybody loved eating it! Will definitely order from here again, if needed.

These ladies were spectacular!! They were so friendly and easy to work with! I asked them what they could do and they responded with what would you like? They have numerous options and are extremely reasonably priced! I cannot wait for another event to work with them! Also the cake was DELICIOUS!!! Seriously the frost Ming is out of this world!!! Seriously I am incredibly thankful I found them and will be a long time customer!

Hi I have ordered two cakes from this bakery and they have done an amazing job! Not only does it look amazing but it tastes amazing as well! The staff is super friendly! The only thing to note is that you must leave the cake out for several hours for the frosting texture to be soft, if you kept in the refrigerator overnight.

Super sweet bakery thatI found out through Local Flavor. Tucked into a strip hall of stores, it's very welcoming. Signage, table and chairs o the outside.Inside, jam packed with sweets and treats. Pictures of happy customers and the business owner.Sheryl greeted me warmly and said she would be right with me. She was helping another customer design their custom cake. They had quite the assortment of cupcakes. I went with the lemon, pink champagne and chocolate with raspberry filling. All were so delicious!I got rave reviews at the party I brought them to. The cakes were a feast for the eyes. I'm definitely coming back to support this women owned, local az business. Tasty!

Location; Greenway and 19th Ave located in a the strip mall on the northwest side of the street.Cake; actual cake was mighty tasty, moist and baked to order (Strawberry). Sadly the color and accents were not what I ordered, on my order form I put Gold and Pink, with pink accents such as flowers or balloons for my Daughters Birthday. Instead it was off white with black lines of sorts, I did not say anything as I am not sure what could have been done when party was in a few hours. Think I should have confirmed colors when I confirmed pick up!Service; Super friendly, small and locally owned which is always my favorite.. Will try again and confirm order.

Today I went inside of this business for the first time. It's small and they have cookies and cakes and breads and cupcakes and cinnamon rolls and a lot of different kinds of bake goods. I believe that what makes this a great place is they specialize on making what ever you want. Like I didn't see any Kringle and I talked to the women that it's her business and she does make it. She is very nice friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and nice for its size. I believe it's a small store to keep the overhead down. But over all the shop and the people working there appear very friendly and helpful. I look forward to calling and ordering something to bake to see if it as great as it appears.

I Ordered my son's birthday party cake here and they were happy to accommodate my order on short notice - they make delicious CUSTOM cakes (I picked an inspiration photo from Pinterest) and this cake exceeded my expectation! everyone at my son's party really really liked how delicious and beautiful the cake was. I ordered a Raspberry lemon cream combo just like I did for my wedding 5 years ago and this cake is so moist and delicious! - Vanessa is very helpful and friendly she even helped me load the cake in my car! I love supporting local businesses and I'm definitely gonna order from them next time! thank you Sugar&Lace!

I messaged Vanessa because I needed a specific order. It's our dog's birthday. I could find dog birthday cakes but not matching human cakes. I asked Vanessa could she make a birthday dog cake and a matching human cake and she did. Boy did she. I don't have any daughters so I wanted a unicorn cake for my dog Bianca. (Hey we're in quarantine -any reason for cake right?)We ordered a Neapolitan cake with raspberry filling for us and whatever flavor for the dogs we ended up with a white cake. Needless to say the dogs love the cake and so did the humans thank you so much Vanessa those cakes looked amazing

The cake was beautifully made for my dear friends baby shower. Some cakes taste artificial but even the taste was 10/10. They boxed it for me so it doesn't get messed up in the car. Super happy with how it turned out!

I have used sugar and lace twice now! Once for my wedding and once for my baby shower. Both times I ordered cakes AND cookies. All of them were not only incredible looking but they tasted amazing as well!! I highly recommend this bakery. The owner was super helpful and really listened to what I was envisioning.
