Whenever I visit Submarine Port I try to come on a Tuesday, Thursday,Saturday or Sunday for the cream of chicken and rice soup which is my favorite besides turkey sub.

While the food is good, the customer service could use some work. I ordered 3 items separately unknown to me that there was a special for what I ordered. Instead of the lady suggesting the special price, she proceeded to charge me individually. While eating my food, I had a chance to see the whole menu and saw that I got jip over $4. When I brought it to her attention, she wanted to proceed to tell me that I should have seen the special and indicated what I wanted. I said a real good customer service would have been you would suggest it. Customer service could break or make this place.

I ordered here for a short time and it did the impossible. The bread enough to tie over a arm and leg. Quickly relying on the speed of service which was outstanding. Good look to it all the background on this place the feel of coming very good news.

Looked like an interesting place to eat, so we stopped and ordered lunch. Husband ordered #2 special: corned beef on rye with chips and drink. I just ordered the smoked ham on a croissant. Didn't realize I had to pay 60¢ more for the croissant. But I didn't want a lot of bread. We didn't have to wait long for our individually prepared sandwiches. Our order was for 2 basic sandwiches and they tasted good. Bread was fresh and they were just big enough to satisfy us without being too much. Shared chips with husband who got the combo. I was too cheap to pay $4 more for a drink and a bag of chips. We dined by the window, and noticed that everything was clean and bright. I liked the rubber tree in the center of the dining area. Big! I also liked the Tiffany style lamps above us. The menu is big, but not overwhelming. The ice cream in the front looked good, but we were too full for dessert. Husband got a drink refill, and I got ice in my water mug. Ladies behind the counter were friendly and efficient. They also took care of a drive thru in addition to patrons inside. The men's room was nothing special, but I liked the switch plate in the ladies' room. Both places were clean and functional.

Soup, corned beef, pastrami, and cheese fries (also can alternate with garlic fries) are my go tos. Over the last year or so their line is always long... but they always have good food.Soft served ice cream too, you can't go wrong there.

I can vouch for this place. Has done in seating. No hastle. The Ruben comes with mustard and not thousand island . Open late. The chicken rice soup and potato salad were good

We just stopped there few mins ago. There was this young girl working at drive through. She was really rude and shoved my drinks in my hand. I liked them better when the older people were working there.

I ordered a veggie sub they gave me a turkey sub instead ,also ordered cheese fries meaning cheese on fries. they put my cheese on the side along with some peppers.
