Stumpy's Pizza & Subs

I've had this one on my list for a while now. We've been here a few times already and the pizza is just amazing. Pepperoni and sausage is our go to. Perfect under crust. The cheese is one of the best. And the rest of the ingredients are just so tasty! We also had a few salads and they are fresh cold and crisp. The ranch is on point too! And last but not least the wings. Went with the naked ones. Very good. Will try the mild wings some time soon Great little hole in the wall!! Kind of far from me but we do this place on the weekends ! Keep up the good work team! Can't wait to go back. Today probably!!

3.5 Stars.My Brother in law and Son did a quick little pizza tour of Phoenix. We went to 5 different places, and grabbed a slice from each. Stumpy's ranked #4 of 5 on our tour.Went with a slice of cheese to split with my Son. Wasn't sure how full we would be, and had more spots to go to. Probably could have had my own slice. Small place, friendly workers! How was the slice? Eh, it was ok. Gave it a 6.9 out of 10. Thin, gooey cheese, minimal crust and the crust had no chew and tasted plain jane. My Brother in law got a slice of pepperoni/pineapple. He thought it was just ok, also. If I lived close to this place, I would try it again, and order something with more toppings. The pizzas around us looked pretty good! The cheese was very basic and that's all I have to judge this spot by.

Luckily we had an appointment for Pedicures at Pretty Little Nails. As I walked into the nail joint I saw Stumpy's pizza next door! Two five star birds with one stone!Pulled up Stumpy's on Yelp and saw they had some legit Yelp scores. I was so hungry so I had to place an online order before they closed. Ordered up one small butcher pizza, and one hot Italian sub please!Super 2024 legit pizza my friends. Toppings, crust, was on point!I'll be back!

Definitely solid pizza. Service is quick and good. We dined inside, and it's very much a casual ambiance (it looks like it is more catered to take out). We had their large pizza and wings, and overall everything was pretty good.

This was our first time trying this and I must say it was pretty amazing. My girl got the hot meatball sub and I go the classic Italian toasted and man it was juicy and tasty. The pizzas coming out the kitchen to other tables smelled and looked amazing as well were definitely coming back. Small spot, gets very busy during lunch hour, friendly staff, cool decos, the ambience was on point! we're coming back for the pizza!

Delivery - we recently moved to the area and tried placing an order for delivery and was told they don't deliver to my address when my address is literally a 10 minute drive - straight shot. I was placing a small order of $70.00 dollars but don't know why I was given a second excuse where she added that they are a small establishment and couldn't accommodate us. What was weirder was that after she took my name she then said she couldn't deliver to me. I do have a Hispanic name (Paulina) and couldn't understand what had changed after asking my name! I guess not everyone is accommodating to everyone in this area. Such an unfortunate experience!!

The best quality pizza in Phoenix, Az. Quality and fresh are their most important ingredients. The time and care they take in creating a delightful and delicious meal from their pizza is why I always go to them. Thanks for the excellent food and service. Try the Greek pizza....

Trust a local - Stumpy's is one of the best. Look, just like burgers, it's okay if you have more than one "favorite" pizza place as there are many takes on how a pizza should be made. But, Stumpy's deserves 5 stars because: it's delicious, quality and generous ingredients, and locally owned. Their proprietary sausage is my highest recommendation--sliced or crumbled. Yes, you're going to pay more here than at one of the national chain competitors, but you're going to be happy you did. Or, if you really want to save money, get your kids some crappy pizza from the chain and impress the adults in your group to Stumpy's. They are 2.8 miles away from the people living in the Biltmore and after you've been hung up twice and then told that you are out of their delivery area, please don't waste your time calling for delivery.
