I went to a new pho restaurant last night for dinner. Spring rolls, egg rolls, Oxtail pho, filet mignon pho , dessert & pork roll. The restaurant is new modern style but it's a good size. I recognized the waiter from another pho restaurant he helped me at. I think open this restaurant with his family. Which is pretty dang cool I will be coming back again

This place was a delightful choice. It's small and the silverware/napkin caddies are a bit large for the tables. No frills metal chairs and padded benches along the walls help them maximize the small dining space. I would have liked different music - it was all rap while we were there - but didn't ask them to change it.The service was attentive and we wanted for nothing. The food was incredible. It was my first time enjoying the Caramelized Fish in a Clay Pot. The owner gave me recommendations for eating it, cautioned me to watch for the bones and encouraged me to eat the sauce on the rice. I would have done all that anyway but it was nice to be introduced to the dish by an insider. I will happily order this dish again! It's rich. The traditional soup to wash it down with was welcome. The soup even had a neat Asian vegetable that looked like a sponge but was crunchy. This dish was listed as a house speciality and I'm so glad I tried it.

Streets Pho & Grill is located a few doors down from Pepper Farm Deli and only been opened since December 2023. It serves authentic Vietnamese food. It has all the dishes I like and more. I do wish they offered broken rice plates not regular rice.We ordered:-Wing trio of salt&pepper, honey sriracha, and fish sauce ($20): So far one of the best wings! It's super crispy on every bite. I like s&p, honey sriracha then fish sauce but my fiancé likes fish sauce, s&p then honey sriracha. The honey sriracha is more of a wet marinade. I highly recommend getting the trio to see which flavors fancy you.-Signature Pho ($20): The broth looks really clean. Has oxtail, shank, flank and brisket. It's good but I have to say pho is not their strong point.-Shaken beef filet mignon ($20): Always my go to. The filet was super soft and chewy. The flavor is not as bold as I would like compared to other places but still really good.-Caramelized fish in clay pot ($20): Rare to see this dish. It's usually offered at places that have family style meals. Well, this was a mini family style meal because it came with a side of rice and sweet and sour tamarind soup. The soup had pineapple, slices of giant elephant ear (the spongy stalk), tomatoes, shrimp, beans sprouts. Everything tasted like your mom's home cooking but in a restaurant. My favorite Vietnamese places to eat are PT Eatery and Mom's Pho and Grill. Now Streets Pho and Grill is added to my list.Coincidentally, Streets is related to Mom's. This explains why we loved it so much and was comparing to Mom's. Mom's is owned by the sister and the brother owns Streets. They don't serve identical menu. You'll have to check out both and decide for yourself! Service was quick and friendly. We will be back to try additional dishes. 5/5

This place is the newest place to santee. Santee has a few pho restaurants but none compare to this one. The AC is always cranking which is huge lol. The decor inside is really cool and gives a more modern vibe to pho than most places. The service is for get about it good. Not too fast that you don't have time to even drink your water but perfect timing. All smiles in this restaurant. The broth is what does it for me. It's not greasy or oily looking it's a nice clear clean broth like it should be. If you live in santee or even in the area you must check this place out. Not pictured are the spring rolls! Great size and not fluffed with too much lettuce the perfect roll. Don't forget to ask for chili oil!

Streets Pho & Grill in Santee is everything it proclaims to be - Vietnamese fare with murals of the streets of Vietnam and TLC, Beyoncé, Ne-Yo playing overhead - they just humbly left out how delicious their food is.AMBIANCEaside from the above description, the space feels brand new, clean, and casual. FOOD5/5 V1. SPECIAL COMBO (Bún Dac biêt): Smoky tender marinated and grilled pork with crispy-fried, juicy pork-filled egg rolls over a heavenly fluffy bed of vermicelli alongside crisp, super fresh veggies, slices of pickled carrot and daikon, and a side of savory fish sauce full of umami flavor. My takeout order was presented to me by the chef, and it felt like they blessed the food with their kiss because the food was mind-blowingly delicious.

Streets pho & grillRestaurant is next to Supercuts and in the same lot as Chuze fitness. Shared parking with lots of business. Plenty of seating inside with low music playing in the background. We were served and helped by Bobby. I believe he is the owner. He is super knowledgeable and gave recommendations for what to try out. We ordered the following:Spring roll pork and shrimp Pork Banh MiBeef Banh MiP1 (has ox tail)The Banh Mi came with hot bread which was excellent and made the sandwich taste even better. The spring rolls tasted very fresh and the peanuts sauce was great. The surprising thing was that the P1 came with ox tail. Not that often you get ox tail with Pho. The broth was rich and flavorful. Bobby recommended the chicken wings which we will get next time we go there. Because I would recommend this place to my family and friends. I'll be back soon to get the wings and try more items on the menu.

Super fresh ingredients and very large portion sizes! The egg roll vermicelli hit the spot and the pork egg roll was crispy and perfect with fish sauce. The service was quick and the restaurant is a very casual sit down place.

It may be hard out in these streets, but not at Streets Pho & Grill..When they initially opened, I went by and found my new favorite east county pho spot. I started with the salt and pepper wings, which were cooked well but the chicken was flavorless until I added some chili oil. I prefer a shrimp pho, but didn't notice they had one, so the server convinced me to try the seafood pho, and it was delicious. Seafood and broth had a really fresh flavor. They checked in multiple times to make sure nothing else was needed, which made the service great. There were many tables, but it is a small spot, so I expect this place to get busy when more people find it. Looking forward to trying other things they have.

Another new Pho place located in Santee and a welcome addition as there are only 3 other places that I am aware of that serve Pho in that city.Great customer service, and it was good to hear that they have 3 owners that all do their part. The one lady knew all of the people from the legendary Pho Hoa on 4717 El Cajon Blvd. That is my most favorite Pho place on this planet but can't always go there. This place was clean, well organized, loved the decor and can't say a single negative thing about this place. Pho was amazing, ample pieces of meat, their egg rolls had a ton of meat in the middle and were super crispy, the way I love them. One of the owners talked to me about Phu Quoc which looks like a such a beautiful island near Cambodia. For sure will be back!
