Cute coffee stand with friendly employees. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Our latte tasted like steamed milk, barely any coffee in there. The scone was huge but microwaved unevenly, with one small warm patch while the rest was ice cold. It also had a strange savory aftertaste despite being a sugary sweet item. The bagel with cream cheese was the best tasting item we got, but it was also microwaved instead of toasted, resulting in a mushy eating experience.

Strawberry Bay does a great job of making you feel welcome and appreciated every visit. Their staff are always very kind and the drinks are made well. I find it irritating that the negative reviews below are most likely from the same Karen but want to show my love with a 5 star review! If I could leave a hundred positives reviews for all of my visits I would! Way to go, guys! You bring a lot to our small town and are always my first choice!

My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way down to Seattle. We were greeted by a super nice woman who recommended the breakfast sandwich, which was delicious! Fresh egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage -- all on a really good bagel! We will be back for sure as this is now our go to coffee shop in Anacortez. :)

Anacortes' R Ave is a busy thoroughfare, but slightly off the beaten path. This is where you find Strawberry Bay Coffee in a small red building with drive through windows on both sides. In other words, a lot like most drive through coffee "shacks". What in my view differentiates them from most other similar places are the quality of their products, combined with a friendly staff. I've only stopped by a few times, but every time I've had great service and good food and drink. As far as coffee goes, they roast their own, which is a clear sign of passion for it. They also have fantastic breakfast sandwiches, and they source some of their ingredients locally. I was told that the bagels come from Whidbey Island, for example. Next time I go I will try to stop myself from eating my breakfast sandwich immediately and try to take a photo. In the meantime, you'll have to take my word for it.

This is my favorite place to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich in Anacortes and most of the time I'm helped by the friendliest baristas. I love the strawberry theme and their punch card are super cute. More importantly, I've yet to get a meh Americano there. And IMHO their build a breakfast sandwiches are not only the best around they're the best value around. Quality and cuteness keeps me coming back and referring people there. Really not much more to say.

My favorite coffee drink is a stirred caramel macchiato. My attendant today was such a sweet young girl who made it perfectly. Convenient and a cute drive through. Make a stop!!!

Super bummed that neither of the employees were wearing their COVID masks, which are currently required by state law. Not everyone is lucky enough to be young and healthy and will survive the infection if they catch it. Oh well.
