Stratford Court Cafe

Everything about the Stratford Court Cafe is great. From the food, the service, and the ambiance, this is an awesome place to visit when in Del Mar. First, the food. We ordered the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich, Berries & Cream Waffles, and the Açaí Hemp Bowl. All three were perfect. Kristian, the cashier that took our order, guided us in the right direction. This was our first time visiting, so we asked her for recommendations. Everything was delicious. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. And the cafe itself was very inviting. Plenty of seating. And the dog treats were a great touch. Our Golden Retriever was very happy as well. When in Del Mar, Stratford Court Cafe is a must.

This place is a good spot for some casual brunch. It's self-seating and you walk up to the counter to order your food. We ordered the burrito and the croissant sandwich with a smoothie. The prices were reasonable, and pretty yummy. It's tucked within downtown Del Mar. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area.

Cute outdoor patio cafe in front of Del Mar Beach. Love to catch up with friends and eat a casual brunch in a bright, vibrant environment. You order breakfast, coffee, or smoothies with a cashier in front and your food is brought to you at a table you choose. Some areas are more shaded than others. I got a lox plate with a jalapeño/cheese bagel, which was sooo good. I'd come back again. There's 2 hour street parking in front.

I've been coming here for a few years when I'm in the mood to spend some time by the beach. this place is more for the ambiance than it is for the food. my last visit was the most crowded I've seen it!came at noon on a saturday. waited around 45 minutes to order, and by the time we were able to order they were out of some ingredients. we got the BLT, lox plate, and iced latte. the cashier let us know it would be a 20 minute wait for food, but it turned out to be 30. they were nice enough to give us free coffee cake as we were waiting. once you order you have to find yourself a seat, which is tough. food was average, nothing special and met the expectations. the latte was NOT good, not enough coffee and too milky. couldn't save it with sweetener either.

We always enjoy this local gem. The wrap around outdoor seating is lovely - basically sitting in someone's front or side yard on a pretty quiet street in Del Mar Village. Walk up ordering and table service seems to flow fine. Be prepared to wait to order on the weekends! Food is very good.

Awesome location with great food! Perfect for a beach walk after as it's walking distance to the beach. They have an assortment of teas and great coffee drinks. All outside seating with a cute vibe.

I went here for breakfast and appreciated that it was open early. The location is really nice and close to the beach. Lots of shops to visit after the meal too. The Harbor burrito was quite filling and tasted good but nothing spectacular. The best breakfast sandwich tasted good but was loaded on the front. The service was quick and nice staff all around!

This is such a cute place to have breakfast! Love the outdoor ambiance!Got the tri-tip benedict and washed it down with a pumpkin spice latte. Hubby got the perfect breakfast sandwich. Everything was good!I want to definitely come back to try other items!

Place and ambiance is cute and different, food is just OK. Coffee is pretty good and service is just ok, it is not a full service restaurant is casual dining.So if you want to enjoy a cute terrace, with a cup of coffee I would go. If you want good food skip it.
