Xochimilco Cafe

I grabbed a lunch, chicken taco with rice and beans. The taco was very crispy. The chicken was flavorful. I was highly impressed! I ordered over the phone for pick up. The staff was friendly once I got there.

It's been a minute since I've been in. Lunch for me and my San. Salsa, a bit watery but tangy. Our lunches, he a Chimichanga, Me, a Chile Colorado. Fat chimi, good sides. My Colorado, still great tho disappointed it is only offered as a full entree and not on the lunch menu. 2 people killed a 50 with tip.

The worst experience ever! The food is not the same as before! I had invited my family to dine in to the restaurant today because I have not been in there in a while and I remember the food was delicious once upon a time. I was so embarrassed with my family because the food was not good at all, the chile verde and Colorado was so hard it was so hard to chew! not to mentioned the Tortillas were disgusting. They had the texture of a pita bread!!!! I don't know if they switch owners but the food was not good at all! The server was also very rude as she was taking our orders. and it took forever for our refills. I will NEVER go to this place again, not even if the food was free! I was so disappointed with this place!

Fantastic food and service to match. Amaxong selection of authentic food from a long established restaurant. Great family feel to this place.

Love XO's literally been eating here my whole life!! Best Mexican food in Stockton!!! Service is always great and the food has been amazing for the last 40 years that my family has been coming here. Ordered yesterday Chicken Burrito lunch with gravy on everything and a Beef Taco a la cart. Everything was great as always and I love how they put flour tortillas with the chips in the bag of chips and salsa. Every time we sit down to eat inside we get treated like family and it just feels comfortable like you're at someone's home. The booths are comfortable and clean and it's just cozy and a staple of downtown! Don't sleep on Xochimilco!!

Good food. Good service. Downtown sketchy neighborhood esp at night. I've been coming here for many years. Food quality does fluctuate.

We come here all the time it's our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Had dinner with the family and everything was so good! Service isn't always the best even though it's slow and several waitresses are working, but the food is amazing.

Still my favorite. I feel like it's not as good as when the original owners had it but it still measures up. My kids love the child plate and we love the homemade flour tortillas and the gravy and cheese dip. We love the tortilla chips and on occasion finding a fried flour one. What a treat!!

Use to love this place but service has gone down. The last 3 times i placed a pick up order my order was incorrect. The first two times the staff made me feel like it was my error so i stopped going for a few months. Went back today said my order extra slow. STILL GOT ORDER WRONG. Staff never takes enough accountability always oh it wasn't me who took the order but you can come back or ok well do you want it replaced. I live across town and it isn't worth it to drive back i should've checked my order before leaving i guess but had faith being i order slow and restaurant not busy. My son is autistic and a picky eater or i wouldn't care so much but definitely won't be spending anymore money here.
