I purchased roller skates and two sets of hybrid beach cruisers from World of Wheels. The staff are fantastic and they have a first rate service department. I appreciate how knowledgeable everyone is! I came in looking for a beach cruiser for my son going off to college at Chico State. Peter helped me find the perfect bike for Chico... a hybrid cruiser/mtn. bike that rides great around town and can be taken all the way from Lower Bidwell to Upper Park. It's absolutely perfect... I had no idea there were hybrid cruiser/mtn. bikes and he's loving the versatility. The staff are very knowledgeable and low pressure. Thank you World of Wheels!

I really can't say enough about the wonderful service and friendly attitude of everyone that I met at the store. They were able to diagnose a problem with my daughters bike and ended up just being able to fix it with a service instead of replacing the part. Great people.

If you are also planning to buy bikes, I highly recommend visiting World of Wheel Bicycles in Modesto. They have a great selection of bikes and carry high-quality California-made products. They also have an area for tune-ups, changes, customizations, gadgets, and much more. Their amazing team of bike specialists, especially Peter and Shawn, assisted us in making our decisions! We worked closely with Peter, who was amazing! He was patient and helpful even though we were new to bikes. Peter not just assisted us in finding the right bikes but also assisted us in adding custom gadgets, training wheels for my daughter's bike, adjustable parts for comfort, and even cell holders! I went in with my family yesterday and was immediately greeted by Brandon! He is very knowledgeable with bikes. He recommended a few bikes to us and he was very good at explaining which bike works for my 10 year old son. He was patient with him about trying the bikes out and made the entire visit a pleasure. We ended up purchasing a bike for him and I went definitely come back to upgrade my daughter's bikes in the next year or so. Thank you for the great experience and you have definitely earned a lifelong customer!

My wife and I are new to the biking world and we were told that World of Wheels is the place to go.Upon entering we were warmly greeted and felt like family. The service department assisted my wife with installing a kick stand while I perused for my first bike in over a decade.I was assisted by Peter who helped answer my questions and gave me some recommendations. What was awesome is he invited me to take a test ride. He guided me through the ride giving me insights from how to pedal properly to seat adjustments.Very happy - I even purchased a bike! Very excited and highly recommend this place!

I needed help from World of Wheels with a used Aventon bike that I bought from their customer who had spent $4,000+ on eBikes in their store. Their customer said "Go to World of Wheels and they'll give you the purchase info." All I needed was a way to show Aventon that the bike really was bought from their store and what date so I could get warranty work done. They wouldn't help me and said it was a privacy issue. I literally bought the bike from the customer's house and already knew his name, phone, and the serial number and had pictures of the Facebook Marketplace listing and our conversation. It was clear I hadn't stolen the bike. They just didn't want to help. I tried multiple times and they wouldn't invest the 10 minutes to write up the info with bike, serial number, date.

Over the past 44 years World of Wheels has been my go-to bike store. They have always done a great job maintaining all my bikes. I have been purchasing bikes since 1980 from World of Wheels, first I purchased two Specialized brand mountain bikes (great bikes). In 2020 i purchased a Raleigh 3-wheel bike (another great bike). This past August 2024 I purchased another more expensive 3-wheel bike Baja Trike. I had a problem and I am happy to say that the manager Eric totally solved my issue. Thanks again Eric for being not only a great store manager, but also a wonderful caring person.Thanks,Dennis

Guys were super helpful and got my Apollo electric scooter up and running for a rear flat tire. They went as far as helping me get the correct one off of Amazon!

review:Avoid? I recently contacted Gerid for a quote of $50 to install a tire on my son's scooter. He assured me that the job could be done for $50 and even offered to adjust the rear tire at no additional charge. I drove an hour out of my way to get the job done. Gerid mentioned it would take a couple of hours. However, when I arrived at the shop for my 10 AM appointment, I was informed that Gerid was no longer there. I was told I would have to leave the scooter until Monday and that they would not adjust the other tire. I feel misled and disappointed by this experience.
