This review is from 3/25/2021Wilma Lott catering is an excellent caterer. Which is why, when I found out they were doing curbside lunch, I jumped at the chance. So far the steak sandwich and the chicken salad sandwiches are my favorite! So delicious. They cook to order the steak right there outside in a grill. I got half way thru my sandwich today before I realized I should take a picture and submit a review.Also, their customer service is top notch! The take great care to pay attention to allergies!I highly recommend them!

Celebrated St. Patrick's Day with one of our favorite Martinez take out places. We ordered in advance as you need to with their curbside offerings and then just picked it up at our chosen time. The highlights were the mouth watering corned beef, Guinness gravy meatballs and the soda bread was so good. We happen to love boiled cabbage - more next year please! The decadent chocolate cupcake later on capped off a very satisfying meal. Home cooking without the cooking ‍ And the people at the pickup table are always cheerful and friendly.Follow them on fb or instagram to see upcoming curbside meals. I heard their lasagna is really good. And did you know they just won the Santa Cruz clam chowder competition??If we needed to cater an event, we would definitely give the a try based on the to go food we've tried.

Wilma Lott catered our wedding day. We first reached out to them hoping they could help us with our dream menu, a Persian buffet. They said of course! We sent them some recipe ideas and they brought them to life. At the tasting, we could not believe how amazing the food was. At the wedding, all of our guests raved about the food the whole night, and even today they still talk about it. We had multiple people ask for recipes! The day-of catering staff was so kind, hard-working, and respectful. They prepared everything beautifully and were very professional. Thank you to Robert, Amanda, and the day-of crew for making the food the hit of our wedding!

I haven't gone to any of the catering companies for meals during the pandemic, but I saw the THICK-CUT Rosemary-Apricot Pork Chop post by Wilma LottCatering in Martinez, and I had to try it! I had just picked up dinner, but I knew I could save that for lunch. The pork chop was a HUGE double cut, it was cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious! It came with butternut squash ravioli with browned sage butter, brussel sprouts, a green salad, and some cornbread. This scrumptious meal was just $22!!! I also picked up a lasagna to cook at home early tomorrow so I can bring some to my mom.Wilma LottCatering is open for pick up only. They typically post their on Facebook.

Would 100% recommend Wilma Lott Catering! They came highly recommended from a family member of mine and they lived up to the praise. I hired them to do a plated dinner service for my recent backyard wedding and from start to finish it was the best experience!! They were so helpful in planning out the wedding menu, gladly making some adjustments along the way. All of the food was delicious, including 25 orders of filet mignon that somehow all came out perfectly. Guest raved! The chef is very talented and the staff was awesome.... friendly and helpful and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards. Will definitely use this team again in the future.

I used Wilma Lott to cater an event at my office, and Kerri was great to work with in planning my menu and helping me keep the costs down. Justin, Irini, and Romero were the on site chefs. They were friendly and worked fast. Justin in particular was great at communicating and understanding what I needed. He is so awesome and I am always happy to see him walk in with the catering crew! One example: my coworker came in when the banquet table was 1/3 set up and informed me that she needed our linens for an event tomorrow morning. I told Justin that I was concerned that the linens might get dirty during service, and he went out to the van, disassembled what was already set up, and put a table runner down to protect the linens. Everything was served on time, waters kept getting refilled, and they were fast at breaking down the buffet and packaging the leftovers. Justin showed great concern in making sure that they were doing everything they needed to dispose the trash or clean up (we have onsite janitorial services, so that was not needed). The food itself was fantastic. My favorite things were the shortbread with berries and whipped cream and the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese. Definite must-order if you have a buffet. The caprese skewers' cheese tortellini was a bit dry but other than that I liked everything else I ordered: pecan strawberry salad, sirloin carvery station (no extra cost for carvery), butternut squash ravioli, roasted vegetables. Wilma Lott is my go-to for catering at my office!

I have used Wilma Lott for two of my events (baby shower in 2021 and my child's first birthday in 2022). Both times, the food and the customer service were exceptional. They are so easy to communicate with and they accommodate all dietary needs (we needed gluten and dairy free options). They arrived exactly on time to set everything up and the table looked beautiful! We ordered Hawaiian style buffet and all of my guests raved about the food and told me how delicious it all was. The Hawaiian pulled pork came wrapped in banana leaf packets and they had a watermelon carved in the shape of a flower - the details in all of the food were exceptional. I will be using and recommending Wilma Lott for ALL future events. Thank you!

Wilma Lott was great during the whole process of catering our wedding. The moment we got into the door we were treated with warmth and professionalism. The food, service, and communication from all staff was impeccable. Food was a priority at our wedding, since Sara and I love eating almost as much as we love each other. Wilma Lott exceeded our expectations for how good catering can be. Many of the guests remarked on how well cooked the Mahi-mahi was. Sara and I found the lamb riblets to be divine, especially after our ceremony where we stood in the 100 degree sun for 30 minutes. Big thank you to the whole Wilma Lott team who worked in the intense heat for hours, serving 130 guests and made it look easy. Also thank you Mallory for being so on top of everything before our big day.

Warning about Wilma Lott: Food Safety Issue!Wilma Lott catered my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party in May 2024. During the planning and tasting the service was great but the execution of the event was terrible & dangerous! We had an ice cream sundae bar as part of our desserts. We ordered mini m&ms to be on the sundae bar. Wilma Lott unbeknownst to us put peanut butter m&ms on the ice cream bar. We only discovered this after a friend's child with a peanut allergy became sick. When I notified Wilma Lott the following day, the owner called me and apologized saying they noticed the packaging on the m&ms was different than usual but didn't know why. ‍ They clearly didn't read the bag which at a children's event is dangerous. They are not at all detail oriented in the execution of their events, maybe because as the venue coordinator said, "they sent their C team." Not a single person from the company touched base with me at the event---nobody was in charge. The timing of the hots d'ouvres was so off that one of them was almost entirely left over. They did not put out the cupcakes at the specified dessert time. I put event logo stickers on 120 white paper sundae cups. There were leftover plain ones in the same box just in case. WL staff used the plain ones first. I'm left with 90+ cups with stickers on th with the date of our event---unusable for something else. And I put the stickers on for the added touch--time & money wasted thanks to WL.Absolutely no attention to detail! The food was also not nearly as good as it was during the tasting. I will not use them again and do not recommend them.

I highly recommend Wilma Lott Catering! I have used their services several times and they always exceed my expectations! The food is amazing, the presentation is wonderful and the staff is helpful, friendly and hard working! They just catered an event for me with 130 people and I received compliments the entire night of the great food and service! Thank you Wilma Lott Catering!
