Wilderotter Vineyard

So so sad that they sold to Teneral Cellars. Our favorite wines faded out and so did our favorite pourer and the complimentary food pairings (which btw made a huge difference for me in how the taste of the wine got better).

tasting experiences, and trust me, they know their stuff.Now, a quick tip: don't dive into the charcuterie like it's an appetizer platter. It's meant to be a dance partner for the wines. Save those tasty bites for the perfect duet.And let's talk about Candace. She's not just selling merchandise; she's practically a maestro of wine vibes. Engaging, cool, and armed with knowledge that'll make your head spin (in the best way). Trust me, if you're looking for more than just a sip, Wilderotter is where it's at. A smaller yet still a quality wine experience. The building is Tuscan style and the interior very attractive and well maintained. We enjoyed a glass on the patio in back which was quite crowded on a Sunday, and loud. I do not understand why people need to be in a bunch and carry on in an annoyingly loud way with others around wanting to experience a quality tasting, yet not the business's fault. Undoubtedly the drinking doesn't help. Service was good and informative. This is a great little winery to taste some quality wine, the Sauvignon Blanc being a favorite here.

Visited this winery while looking around to see what was open during the holiday Christmas week and came open this winery. The customer service provided by the gentleman was great! He was knowledgeable and really knew the wines and parings well. The wines we tried were ok and just not what we were looking for and maybe they would work best for someone else. What was excellent was the cheeses they paired with the wines. The cheeses were amazing!! The Holy cow cheese had great flavor and the expresso flavored cheese was fantastic. Very creative cheese flavors and you can tell they are doing cool things to pair with their wines. Again, I would recommend this place for their cheeses. Their wines were just not what we were looking for but would visit for the cheese again. The ambiance was a small winery with knowledgeable staff and great cheeses!

We have a group of six people that camp at a ranch in Amador County, California near the town of Plymouth. To start off our trip we like going to Wildrotter Winery for wine tasting. There is a large patio with shading that is surrounded by vineyards. We bring our own lunch and for only $12 each we have wine tasting with a cheeseboard. Since we decided that we were going to four different wineries, my partner and I shared a pour and a cheeseboard.They have a large tasting room, but we prefer to eat and taste out on the patio. Their tasting room it's open every day from 10:30 in the morning till 5 PM. They have a wine club, and offer group tastings for limos and buses - - but as you can imagine appointments are necessary. They are located on 80 acres growing both wine grapes, and three different olive trees.There is a parking lot, and there is only one step up for wheelchair accessibility. We found the price really reasonable. The service was excellent!Next time we go winetasting and Amador County, we will probably start our wine tasting adventure at Wildrotter Winery.

Great service awesome atmosphere complimentary cheese pairing with your tasting of 8 wines. Brought a large group without reservations on holiday weekend and they took us right in.

PETITION: Add tip line to receipt to allow servers to be tipped. Everything was great, service was amazing. Wish we were able to tip the workers. That is all.

This place is the best! Especially if Lizbeth is pouring. So fun! Wines are always great and we enjoy our membership.

Another first! We made another stop here. Glad we did. The service was awesome and the wine was delicious! Daniel was great. Idk the gentleman's name but he took great care of us. Ordered a pizza it was delicious as well. This is a must stop! Thank you guys. Great place great food great service!

Great service with a smile by Staff and awesome scenery!! Ms.Wilderotter, stopped by and welcomed us to her establishment. Such an adorable person, she is.Had a fantastic time with family and bought over $350.00 cases of wine. _______**Lesson to be learned . Always check your case of wine before leaving!!!****The only issue there, is that the wine we bought was not what we asked for. When we arrived home in Sacramento, we realized the cases were full of wine we didn't ask for. I had to call the winery to get it corrected*** ughhhHopefully we'll get the corrected case as we were told. :)But, beyond that issue, our family event was fantastic!!
