Wild Wings Golf Club

Well, I was told from the get-go that this course is under new management. I know why now. I gave an extra star because the service I got was excellent by Max., The guy working the pro shop. Didn't have golf clubs so I rented them out (mainly hit the 4h the whole time!) good news is I finished the round in about just over an hour. This par 36 nine hole course has a variety of distances that help with zeroing in from different angles. Sand bunkers need to be repaired and the greens were hit or miss. The terrain was very nice. We had a great time with our grandsons at Wild Wings Golf Club. It needs some loving care and Jesse is doing just that! Let's help him and save this course!

I was super excited to play this course after seeing the pics on the website. It looks amazing. And then it's touted as being the longest nine hole course, and the nicest in Northern California. That must have been in the years past.I booked a tee time and set out to play this wondrous course and couldn't believe what I saw when I arrived. It was a complete track, meaning that it barely resembled a golf course. The only things that were green were the tee boxes and the greens. The fairways were basically dead grass/hard pan, the "rough" was just weeds, and the "amazing" sand traps they purport to have are full of weeds growing.Before the round, I used the restroom and there was the only place I saw a note stating that due to the water shortage, they are only watering the tees and greens and landing areas. Well they must have stopped a long time ago because it was dry as a bone.When we checked in, we wanted to grab a snack or a little food and we're told they didn't have anything but we're getting ready to make "a Costco run". So I got a small bag of chips...The reason for two stars as opposed to one is due to the gentleman I booked the tee time with and checked in with (the same guy). The was really nice, friendly, and did a good job of repping a not so great situation. He probably gets a lot of crap based on the conditions and handles it well.Until we either get a monsoon and the course turns green, or they start taking better care of it. I won't be back.

Great guy at the pro office. The course layout is nice. However, the driest dead fairway course I've ever seen. Nothing really to enjoy seeing unless you want to see vast expanses of dead crunchy turf.

Absolutely horrible condition! Not playable. If they did some work on the greens it could be playable. Do not waste your time or money.

I have been playing this for for a long time, every single weekend for years and the last 2 times I've been out, it was horrible. Course is in shambles. Fairways are completely dead and greens are long and chewed up. This course has been known to have really nice greens but whomever owns it now, is not taking care of it. It saddens me as I love this course but unfortunately I will no longer be playing here ever again unless I hear it's been taken care of again. Super disappointing.

I just wanted to say that I came out from peoples recommendations to play your course last week and I was very disappointed. The greens were like Velcro and the ball just stuck and barely rolled. In some instances, the ball would change directions multiple times during a putt. The gentleman at the pro shop was very nice and accommodating.

I was having a great day and was ecstatic to begin my adventure on the golf course with my friend. I was very mislead by the looks of the fairways. Our push carts were awful mine was missing a wheel and lil meats was ghetto asf. These greens are in the worst condition i have ever seen. You shoulda seen the look on my face when i couldn't find my ball due to the world war 2 looking bunkers, i swear i think they were involved. I wouldn't have been mad if they charged an extra dollar to get a wasp exterminator out there and take care of those wasps. I had a putt for birdie and missed it due to the many distractions "wild wings" golf course had. Excited to inform i will never be going back.

Great course for everyone! The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the game! Love it there!

Update. All the greens have been fertilizer burned by the current staff. Not playable. Worst greens in the valley. Unless and until the course gets in better shape, I will report the truth. Marketing this course in its current condition only makes those who do come never want to return.
