To be honest this review is more about the Tap room next door. So there are 28 Tap handles with an excellent selection of craft beers from all over California and a few from outside the State. The vibe is chill and the people are fantastic. There is a bit of a Cheers vibe but all are welcome here and most conversations are easy going but every now and again you will hear some political perspectives which is good like in a British Pub kinda way :)Highly recommended if you are a true fan of craft beer. There are also cocktails if you need a nice whiskey or other!

We have been going to Whirlow's for years. It has been a staple on the Mile for quite some time. On our last visit it was about 6 pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. I guess there was not a band playing that evening though a few people were next door drinking at Taps. We ordered in a flash and received good customer service. 2 burgers along with sides and fountain drinks came up to $45. Kind of pricey for the portion sizes that we received. I wish they gave us more fries and onion rings.It was not the best of the best when it came to taste but the items that came out were made to order and fresh. We will return for the convenience. The restaurant is always clean and spacious. With inflation, this may be the new norm. Average experience.

So my s/o and I have been hitting Whirlows for wine/beer food and music on regular basis. Always greeted by the owner, we are not disappointed. While they do not have table service, they have an order line, orders are brought quickly to your table. We each get one app and split an order of fries. Love the calamari app!0

Excellent food with the multiple choices on salads that make it a standout! The freshly cooked turkey sandwich is my wife's favorite. I love a salad with fresh grilled salmon! The people are friendly and the live music on Thursday and some Fridays is great! Wonderful cookies and all fresh food!

My previous review for this place was nine years ago. My friend and I went last week. I felt like a salad and some live music. Boy oh boy was I not disappointed. It was on Thursday. We met there at six and the music was already playing with a cool mix of jazzy older rock. I ordered my build-my-own salad with grilled chicken with raspberry vinaigrette. (My mouth is watering writing this down) Yummo. My friend just came by to have a beer and she danced her heart away. She needed her spirits lifted and this place provided just what she needed; draft beer, a dance floor and groovy tunes. It's still the same ol' cool, fresh, great food, pleasant people place with nice employees that I remember. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. W.

I ordered a Ceasar Salad, the price was too high for what I got. The dressing was not ceasar, it had too much oil and it little specks of something, probably the anjove, it was not mixed well. It tasted nothing like a Ceasar Salad. I should have just went to the Habit, whose salads are great.

"I ordered a sandwich online for pickup, and it was very easy. The service was good when I arrived, making for a smooth in-and-out experience. I did ask for extra bacon, but it wasn't as presented in the order form as it came (sliced bacon I thought but it was actually chopped) which was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, I would totally order again from this place and just not order extra bacon The interior looked nice, and they even had a stage, although I didn't eat there. There's plenty of parking in the back."

Good service and food but restaurant was a little bit warm, no a/c on!! I will go back, maybe on a cooler day!!

Good place to hangout and listening to the college students play. Good for group of people
