This place is a nice little spot to get some delicious carnitas. I'm up in NorCal visiting family & my father brought me to this spot claiming they had some of the best carnitas around. I knew they'd be good, after all I'm in farmsville so the meat gotta be fresh & my goodness they were some tasty carnitas. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 because the tortillas they gave us weren't warmed up & the carnitas needed to be warmed up too, but fuck it nothing a microwave can't fix. The interior needs a little work & should definitely get dusted more often (if it even gets dusted at all) My brother & I were looking for some chips & the shelves looked very dusty, even the bags of Pepes Chicharron we got were dusty, but not to big a deal. I came with small expectations & ultimately to my surprise was quite satisfied with the taste & quality of the carnitas.

I really like to come here for some good slow cooked pork when I'm in the area. You can select your own pieces and they will give you tortillas to go with it ! One of my favorite things is the soft slow cooked pork skin ! I love it. I'm eating some with some Valentina hot sauce , that they have on the counter for you to use. They have pork steaks, ribs, chicharones that have some meat on them !

My family and i absolutely love this place!? On house cleaning days where my family is getting down a d dirty deep cleaning or when we go out dirt bike riding my dad would bring back a big cardboard box of a full chicken!, tomatoes, onions, avocado, lime slices, and jalapeños with wax paper to cover it and a bunch of tortillas on top! Mmmmmm it's seriously one of a kind place! The experience of going is fun and everyone's super friendly! And it's pretty packed every time I've been there! This little whole In the wall out in the middle of nowhere is a real gem!

if I could give this 0 stars I would, food was cold, no flavor and they warmed up the corn tortillas in the microwave. I do not recommend this place and I will never go there again.

Amazing Carnitas with really nice and helpful people working there. The food is fantastic and it comes at a great price. I got my food to go and it was faster than going to any fast food restaurant, with a better to go carrying style. The best part is you can get as much food as you want to eat. There is no set amount you have to order it's just based on weight of the food. If you're hungry then grab a bunch of food. And if you just want a quick lunch then you can get the perfect portion for you.

This place is delicious! No, you're not going to be able to sit down and dine in your Sunday best at a well manicured table. If you've been doing some recreational activity, or just aren't in the mood to cook, bring it home. We love the carnitas. Throw it in a cardboard flat with all the fixings and some tortillas and BAM! Flavorful, delicious meal. Maybe you're like my husband and I, and prefer to eat it classy style: on the tailgate. And if you have scraps, there's a dog on location happy to help!

Hole in the wall alert! In my world, this is a good thing. First thing you'll notice about the Westside is that while it seems like the store is in the middle of nowhere, the windowless building sits in a sandy (sweet potato?) field just outside Livingston. Inside the place looks smaller, with a food counter straight ahead and a small selection of groceries and beer to the left. But make no mistake, this place is all about the food.Wait. There are no signs, no menu, no prices, just...food. Mexican food. You have to look around and see what everyone else is ordering and try to figure it out. This is the only place I've been in where you get to select the meat out of the case (Carnitas!), put it in the bowl provided, then it's weighed and prepared in a cardboard box left over from unpacking the above mentioned groceries. What they do is lay a sheet of wax paper in the box, chop up the meat, toss in onions, tomatoes, chilies, lime, avocado and for another buck, a dozen tortillas. The dining area is your car. If you got greedy and ordered too much, there will likely be a stray dog roaming around who will be happy to help out with the carnivorous component of your meal.I went here on a Saturday afternoon and business was brisk, nearly everybody coming out with a box or two, sometimes a premade burrito which wasn't bad either (nice & spicy) considering they're usually made to order around these parts. Price wise the food was cheaper than other markets but it is the experience which will bring me back. The only reason the Westside doesn't get 5 stars is that the carnitas were not as seasoned as some others I've had, but I'll have to try the other offerings if I can figure out what else they are cooking up back there. And the real name of this place is Westside Market & Deli.

So about every morning I go and get a breakfast burrito my favorite one is ham and egg with green salsa, today however I went and there was only 2 people working the lady at the counter told me that the one I wanted couldnt be done due to the stove being used up but when I looked to my right there was a stove not being in use, I don't like getting lied to and if they can't have good customer service I do not appreciate going there I have been going there for 6 years now, even if it is not done they still find a way to make me what I want since I'm a good customer. Sad how due to lazyness they can lose a customer. I may not be the first. Or the last.
