West Coast Sourdough - Manteca

We are visiting from out of town and decided to get a bite to eat at West Coast Sourdough in Manteca. The food was really amazing! The bread tasted so fresh complementing the sliced meats and the ambiance was very welcoming. One of the things that we noticed was how nice the staff were, giving us options of how how to order. He was very informative, kind, and you can really tell that he is passionate about where he works. That's so rare to experience!Thank you so much for the exceptional customer service and food. Oh yeah, the cookies are delicious! You have to try the lemon cookies, they are to die for!

We tried this place for the first time today on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. My wife and I both enjoy eating at sandwhich shops/restaurants so not uncommon. I liked how nice this inside was, clean and everything organized. The menu took a second to figure out, you basically build your sandwich, I'll attach a pic of the menu. So I had the Italian, 6", and made it a meal with a garden salad and drink. My wife had a ham and salami sandwhich. Both on a sourdough bread which tasted very fresh, like it was baked that morning. A sandwich can be so simple, but the bread can elevate the flavor for sure, and this place def has some great bread. Service was nice and quick, our cashier was very nice with us and explained the process of ordering. They do also sell salads and soups, which I'll have to come back and try. It is a little pricier for lunch, a 6" Italian with salad and drink came out to roughly $18. But worth the price, so def recommend. I don't like giving out five stars on just one experience, so for now I'll leave a 4, and if I do go back I'll update my score.

Great food, love the clam chowder bread bowl! But my review is about their amazing employee Seema. She helped us tonight and was AMAZING. So friendly and genuinely extremely kind. And very helpful. We were very well taken care of start to finish. Thanks Seema!

This place is always busy. Has plenty of room. Food is very delicious but pricey. I would recommend this place if you're into a good sandwiches.

I love me a good sourdough sandwich ! I ordered the Garlic pesto turkey,Clam chowder, and Lobster Mac n cheese. My sandwich was good. The bread was really good. Should have ordered just a loaf of bread to eat by itself. The clam chowder was a bit watery and was a bit fishy, as well as the lobster for the mac and cheese. Not sure if this is normal, or it was an off day. Flavor was good in both, just a slight little smell. Nothing crazy. Normal seafood smell. Not sure what's the cause for that. Other than that, sandwiches were good. Definitely is a good sandwich place to go to.

Place appears to have steady business. It's not busy Penut yet it has a steady pace of customers rolling in and out. I had the brisket... got it served exactly his it is pictured and recommended on the menu. $11.99 for 8 inch I watched them weigh out the meat so it was not heavy on the meat at all. I think it should have at least a tad more meat. As you can see in my photos there is just a touch of the jalapeño coleslaw on it. Made the flavor better without taking it over. Just a tad more bbq would have been better in my opinion but I truly like saucy stuff. Little more meat and a touch more sauce and this could have been a five star experience This is a 9 out of 10. Wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. Definitely a place you should try if you like sandwiches.

Great bread! Had the BBQ brisket 6". It was delicious. Wife had the Chicken Pesto 6" and she said "thumbs up ". That's a good sign. Only complaint was the sandwiches took a long time to make. They misplaced our order

Went here with the low / medium expectations and was still underwhelmed. I got a salad ( chicken Caesar -$10) "for here" & they still forgot to put the dressing on. That was the whole point of me getting it "for here" . Literally could have gone to Safeway n spent $5 if I wanted to mix it all up myself. Tbh was the same quality pre cooked chicken n stale Parmesean . Croutons are just burnt sourdough not even seasoning ... like what . I honestly was expecting fresher food but of course it's America so everything is prepackaged. Ugh. Also got called maam 5+ times in my 2 minutes interaction. I'm 24 not 65..... Appreciate the effort but dang... miss would have been better lol. Service is coolFood is so not worth it Bathroom was ok but needed to be stocked Return? No. Only in a pinch

I forgot to take pictures of our Sandwiches today. We thought we would try this location for West Coast Sourdough. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our sandwiches came out pretty quickly and they did not disappoint. We initially went to their location in Lodi so this helped influence my decision to try this location. If you are in the area and want a good sandwich give them a try. They also serve soups and salads and have several tables to eat onsite

I'm currently obsessed with this sandwich place, I work in the bay area which I believe doesn't have a west coast sourdough place. I don't have a picture to post mainly because by the time I realize to take one I already finished sandwich, my favorite one right now is the chicken pesto. Service is great just takes a little long to make but worth the wait, nice size restaurant to stay and eat, very spacious
