West Coast Sourdough - Galt

I stopped here at the Tesla superchargers about 9:50 am. I was planning on going into Raley's to pick up a sandwich and use the restroom. But I saw the sign for Sweet Charlie's which intrigued me as I love ice cream. Then I saw the sign for West Coast Sourdough and knew where I was getting lunch. I walked up to the store at about 9:55 am. The open sign was lit but alas the door was locked. So I was peeking in the window to better see the menu and Nav came out and asked if I wanted to come in... well how could I not accept the kindly offered invite!! Their sandwiches looked way better than a Raley's sandwich.I went in and realized that West Coast Sourdough and Sweet Charlie's share the same space. I asked Nav the kind gal that had invited me in 5 mins before they actually opened at 10 what her favorite sandwich was... she said for a hot sandwich chicken pesto and a cold sandwich turkey with cranberry. Both sounded great! I ordered the hot chicken pesto with everything and am I glad I did!! The chicken meat was tender and juicy. The pesto was there but not overpowering. And of course lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. The produce was fresh and the bread!! Wow... I got the sourdough... duh! It is some of the best sourdough I've eaten... and I've eaten a lot of sourdough being from the SF Bay Area! I highly recommend this sandwich shop. The service was great, the shop was spotless as was the bathroom. I also ordered a s'mores milkshake from Sweet Charlie's... it was delicious!! Boy am I glad I did go in.

Very little meat and full of mayo. It was full of lettuce, like a ridiculous amount lol.

Pretty disappointed with the outcome here. Ordered two sandwich's; a 6" chicken salad and a 4" turkey and dry salami. The chicken salad sandwich has to be the saddest sandwich I've seen for $11 with hardly any filling at all. You are better off going to Raley's Nextdoor and getting the same sandwich with twice the filling for half the cost.

Ordered a cup of chowder to go. I sat and watched the employee slowly go back and forth. Waited 30 minutes before my I got order. It was ridiculously long to scoop soup into a togo bowl.

Had the best sandwich ever! I ordered the garlic turkey on sourdough sandwich for dinner after work and picked it up. It has the perfect amount of everything- garlic flavor, aioli, red onion, tomato, pickles and cheese. It was so flavorful and let's discuss the bread. It was fresh, soft and chewy. Sometimes ppl over bake and it be hard. This was amazing and perfect. Can't wait to come back

I loved how as soon as I walked in I was welcomed in by a employee! I had soup and a sandwich. It was unbelievably good!!I definitely will return.Bathroom was clean and stocked also.Thankyou for the excellent service and food!!!

This store in particular is awesome! I put in an order for 70 sandwiches in three platters and a big salad. They were able to fulfill that order less than an hour. They told me they wouldn't be able to have it ready till 12 at the earliest, but I showed up a half hour early and it was already done, and they were already working on ringing it up when I walked in the door! Then they all helped me put it in the car. I was in and out of there in like five minutes. All the staff were friendly and professional. I wish my job allowed me to leave bigger tips.

Turkey, cranberry sando w everything is the one to get! It's one of their popular items and, when you try it you will know why. The flavors mesh together really well the Dijon mustard, cranberry sauce, spring mix, and fresh sourdough. Yes. Yes. And Yes. Staff was knowledgeable of the menu, very friendly and accommodating. This is a restaurant that this little town needed! However, It's a little pricey. A medium sando w a fountain drink was $14. If you want to add chips it'll add $5 to the $14.

French dip was amazing!! Very friendly staff and my order came out quickly!! Will definitely be coming back

I ordered a catering cob salad from west coast sourdough yesterday and asked Navjot to take a picture for me so I could show how beautifully they make their salads look. Extremely appetizing. The service is great and they are always very accommodating with our needs. All of my coworkers love the sandwiches and salads there. We order almost everyday. Highly recommend everyone to come try their food. Guarantee you'll love it as much as I do. The experience dining in is amazing as well. Everyone makes you feel at home. Very calming, all employees really seem to enjoy their job, laughter fills the store up making everyone who walks through the door smile. Always greeting hello and goodbye. Whatever it is that Jaspreet and Bains did to motivate these girl to do such an amazing job welcoming everyone but props to them for training such an amazing teams. Good job everyone.
