Weapons Training School

Stephanie makes her course fun and entertaining yet gets the key laws that we need to know as CCW carriers how to be trained in the law. We learn how to be safe yet face aggression with force if needed. We also learn how to de escalate when the threat of force recedes and armed force is not needed. We learn all of the new laws and how to deal with situations and when it is appropriate to use deadly force.

I needed to renew my CCW permit and WTS came highly recommended from a friend of mine. WTS sent an instructor named Stephanie who was fantastic. We accomplished all of the required drills to complete the requirements for the renewal and then spent the rest of the range time working on more advanced drills. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience, I highly recommend.

I drove 3 1/2 hours to take this women only firearms training class. One of the main reasons I chose this class so far away was because they said they offered a "buffet" of firearms to handle and actually live fire on the range. I was not disappointed! I actually came away with a preference for a weapon I would never have believed I would be interested in had I not handled it first hand and had expert guidance.The owners of this company are professional, friendly, dedicated and sincere in their efforts. They told us at the beginning of the class if we were not having fun, they were not having fun. And guess what? It was so true! There were probably 25 women in my class and over half of them were over 50 years old. Many of us had never handled a firearm in our lives. I was afraid of feeling intimidated and uneducated in this class and it was far from that! I was comfortable and felt confident by the time I left. Their staff is fantastic and they encourage you all along the way. I believe being educated in firearms these days is a necessity for survival. Just my personal opinion. And I would recommend the Popkes and their company very highly. I want to thank them and their staff for such an enjoyable and enlightening experience. I will travel the 3 1/2 hours to come back for my CCW class as opposed to going local in my own area. Thank you guys!

WTS has provided trainings for our company and I attended the class for women (personally) this last weekend. Both trainings were great and full of useful information. The instructors were knowledgeable and encouraging. I loved the exercises and tips during the women's class. I would highly recommend this company and their trainings.

Excellent training class for women. I was very afraid going into the class. After completion of the class, I understood the value of handgun training and felt more confident that with the right training I can own a gun and use it with confidence if needed. The instructors are excellent and explained things very clearly. The training include handling of various revolvers and semi automatic handguns which I found helpful. It was very useful understanding what to do in a home invasion too. I look forward to my next training class and practicing at the gun range.

This is my third class taking from Stephanie and one with her and her husband just happened to be there , it wasn't that they didn't give me a lot of information and that's why I took a third class, it was a personal thing with me having to take another class,and waited to long between classes This time I was with Stephanie she gave me a lot of information to make me comfortable knowledgeable and (confident)again !!! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a class to take if you're a beginner, or advanced,it's fun, she's hands on ,Don't look any any farther, this is it, trust me, my entire family is gun oriented ,but not me, but I am now ,so yea, I needed Stephanie, not family,,,Now I can go to the range and feel confident,

I signed up for a women's only tactical handgun course. They confirmed my registration by email. I called them the day before the course, but no one answered the phone. The day of the course I got up early, double checked that I had all of the required equipment, packed a lunch and snacks as they suggested and drove 45 minutes to the gun range. I sat there from about 830am until almost 10am, NO ONE showed up. I tried calling their number, once again no answer. The operators of the range said they didn't have any way to contact them other than the phone number I had tried. Very poor business to cancel a confirmed class and never notify anyone.

Weapons Training School provides weapons, firearms, and self defense training for both men and women. The owners and instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful in their training skills and I left the class feeling comfortable with the weapon that I was training with and confidence that I could protect myself if I ever needed to, not to mention it was just a fun day. John and Tami, the owners, are very down to earth and super friendly, and were very hands on, and a huge part of the training class. I had so much fun during the class, felt very safe, and will be sure to go back for more classes because they offer so many!
