Very good academy and good Master. The kids participate in tournaments and trips to practice

There is negativity in everything if you look for it . Master H is a dedicated to his craft, only serious martial artist should work out here. My children have taken discipline respect and physical fitness away from here. Unfortunately my boys learn at different speeds so it was a hard decision to leave. They are better martial artistes due to Master Hs dedication to the art, thank you Master H

To me, WAIS martial arts is biased and only focused on money, which is ironic, because to be a student thats exactly whats arranged, money being paid for training.So why I return from vacation, bring my child to class which by the way has its class times changed regularly throughout the year due to wais also having another school in stockton, but not the personnel to operate it effectively,only to have Mr. Akimi approach me a say hes losing money and that i would have to pay 6 mos. in advance.After being there for 8 mos., i suddenly have to pay 540 dollars.Simply put, Mr. Akimi has no integrity or sincerety. His school's way of teaching is mediocre.I will happily put my son in another taekwondo school.Too invest your money and time at this school could very well become a waste.

I was trying out this place despite the not so good rating and send my sons now for about 6 month or so and I think I spend enough time to write a review. OBVIOUSLY if someone wants to complain about something they will find a reason for it. He might not be the most patient teacher in the world if someone talks to much or comes all the time too late and dont take it seriously, but he is very dedicated teacher who spend all his time and effort in teaching kids. He really loves what he does. I wanted a very dedicated and strict teacher for my sons and thats what I got.

I'm taking my kids to WAIS martial arts. They love being trained there. The instructor, not only teach taekwondo, they also teach self defense and decipline. My older kid was 7 when he competed in national taekwondo championship. We are glad and proud to be at WAIS martial arts academy. Thanks to master Hakimi
