Vornhagen Farms offers a fantastic cherry-picking experience, perfect for a day spent outdoors with family and friends. The beauty of Vornhagen Farms is its no-fuss approach. No reservations are needed - just walk right in! After a quick check-in at the main building, they'll provide you with an empty bucket for cherry-picking adventures (you pay by the pound for your harvest). Feeling a little parched? They have cold water bottles available for just $1, perfect for beating the summer heat. Restrooms and water stations (not for drinking) are conveniently located right next to the check-in area, making the whole experience incredibly user-friendly.Vornhagen Farms truly outshined our previous cherry-picking experience in Morgan Hill. The lack of crowds was a major plus. We were able to leisurely stroll through the orchard, following the clear yellow tape that marked the designated picking areas. The best part? The abundance of beautiful, ripe cherries! We found plenty of gorgeous red fruits right at the front of the orchard, eliminating the need to venture deeper. The cherry quality here was top-notch. We barely came across any bruised or spoiled cherries, ensuring a delightful picking experience. And for those hard-to-reach gems at the top of the trees, Vornhagen Farms had handy ladders available to help you snag every last delicious morsel. After filling your bucket with cherry treasures, take a moment to relax and enjoy the fruits (pun intended!) of your labor. Vornhagen Farms provides picnic tables in the back, a perfect spot to savor your cherries and enjoy any snacks you bring along.Vornhagen Farms offers a fantastic cherry-picking experience. The relaxed atmosphere, high-quality cherries, and easy-to-navigate orchard make it a perfect summer outing. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a fun and fruitful adventure!

Vornhagen Farms has a nice going setup for those who love to cherry pick. This past Sunday, our family decided to make the trek out to do some cherry picking. It's a fun activity and the weather was nice. Vornhagen Farms is very easy to get to and they have quite a bit of parking. We arrived around 11am and while there was parking, it was starting to get tight. I recommend coming as early as you can.The entrance consists of a few flags and a billboard indicating they only accept cash and the current rate of cherries costing $4 per pound. There are a couple of porta potties which is very handy considering many of us have traveled from far distances. The front 'desk' consists of ample employees checking people in & out. You will need to fill out a release form upon arrival. The land filled with cherry trees is vast! It's an extremely large place. There are lots of trees that are full with bright red cherries for your picking enjoyment. It's nice that a bucket & bag is supplied when checking in, so no need to bring your own. The pathways are large and wide, making it an intimate and fun experience without feeling crowded. There are a few benches near the front where you can relax, eat and hang out. I really enjoyed the random tractors placed around the farm. This makes for a great talking point and photo opportunity, especially for children. Overall, very satisfied with our trip to Vornhagen Farms. I look forward to coming back here in the future!

After reading the rare 4.9 reviews, I was interested in trying this farm for cherry picking. It was less crowded when my family and I visited on Saturday at around one. Parking on the street was simple. Although there is a very basic check-in counter, they do supply a white plastic bag and a bucket. Cash only, 4 dollars per pound was the price. Thus, please remember to bring adequate cash. The cherries are plenty, dark red. They also have ladders to pick the cherries which my sons enjoyed climbing and picking. We don't have to walk a lot and the path is wide and clear enough to use strollers. They also have benches with umbrellas for the people to have picnics which we don't see much at the cherry farms.Overall, I had a good experience and looking forward to revisiting them in June.

Hidden gem. Dare I say. Great spot to come and enjoy. Luckily we made the last day of the season. Their Rainier cherries were the plump!! Highly recommend. They have picnic tables so bring a lunch snacks whatever. Chill out. $4/ pound which isn't bad. Cash only please note. They had buckets on the ready with bags provided. Super friendly couple (me thinks) up at the front. My family and I were all cherry picking rookies and they helped us navigate where the best ones were. Being from San Francisco.... We got cold weather , fentanyl, and great Chinese food. Not too many working farms. Thank you vornhagen farms!!! We will be back next season and I hope you guys do have peaches and blueberries in future!

Many different varieties of cherries can be found here! I came here for the coveted rainiers! You're encouraged to sample a cherry on the tree before you pick, especially as this year, sweetness varied from tree to tree. There's also a super cute picnic area complete with picnic tables and umbrellas on a well manicured lawn. You're welcome to bring your own food and drink too.Don't miss the farm fresh eggs and local honey for sale. Cash only. Come early to beat the heat and the crowds, grab a bucket and enjoy your cherry picking experience!

Friendly family farm and easy to get in and out. A large but quaint log cabin serves as a base of operations to pickup buckets for picking and return to have them weighed. There is also a very nice grass area with picnic tables. The fruit was beautiful today.

Decided to come here for cherry picking after visiting the berry best farm that's near by. Not sure if its just the beginning of the season, but it wasn't super crowded which is a good thing for my family and i since we almost got our own row or place to ourselves without this place being so pack. When you enter this place, the owners will provide you bags and buckets before you start picking your cherries. They have plenty of trees. Also, after you pay for your cherries, you can enjoyed them at picnic tables Friendly staffs$3.50 per lbs and cash onlyParking is across from this placeWill definitely visit this place again

The overall experience, service, and layout of this farm is great. Went to a few other u-pick farms around the area and this was our favorite one. - $4 per pound when we went- Stopped by mid-June and they still had lots of fruit left but did say this was week 5 of cherry picking so stop by sooner than later this 2024 season.
