Everything about Volcano Union Inn is amazing.The food is delicious from burgers , salads to the main entrees and specials ..I've never been disappointed:)Service always on point .The outdoor seating on summer nights so beautiful.Indoor seating in winter is warm and inviting. Cute outdoor patio with the ambiance of the tree providing shade was the perfect hang out spot! The service was amazing! I will say, the ordering at the counter isn't ideal, but it wasn't a big deal for us. It's a pub, so I would expect to do it that way. So refreshing to be serviced by attentive, sweet, down-to-earth people. Kaylee was our "server" & she was SO good. The chef/manager even came by our table to touch base on how everything was.Our food was 10/10 delicious!! Appetizer we got the shishito peppers & mushroom bruschettaI got the lamb burger with goat cheese & spicy ranch sauce - so much flavor! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cool place to lounge & eat amazing food.

Stayed here on a Thursday - Saturday with my partner. I must say this place is nestled in a tiny town called Volcano. Although there might not be too much to do there, there are places that are driveable. From the check in until the check out, it was very easy and accessible. All rooms are located upstairs and there is a flight of stairs you need to use. (Not really disabled friendly); Our room (Terra Cota), was very clean and well maintained. Others would think that the room would be outdated...but that's not the case! The room goes with the rustic outdoorsy feeling. The only issue i came into was the shower; eventhough the tub was big, the shower curtain wraps around the inside of the tub; every twist and turn, the curtain would stick to my skin which gets annoying. The king size bed was very very comfy. Hadnt slept that good in weeks! Did I mention, breakfast was included each morning! Delicious is all I can say. Eventhough, the bar/pub was downstairs, I didn't come across alot of loud noise so that's good. Overall, would definitely come back.

We had a great overnight stay at the Volcano Inn + Pub, great room and super comfortable bed.Had dinner there as well, and the food was stellar thanks to talented chef and super nice guy, Erik Guttierez who came to our table to say hello; I had the seared housemade gnocchi, and my husband had the seared salmon, both dishes were outstanding; we topped these off with the unexpected and delicious basque cake and horchata ice cream. Breakfast (included with the room) was fantastic as well! We will be back.

Took my brother there for lunch today and was surprised that it was not at all crowded, and seems to have slipped a notch. The gratin starter was good but a little small I thought. The lamb burger was really good, as usual, and the macaroni and cheese, but his fried chicken breast was tough and a bit overcooked and dry and not up to the standard I remember from the last time I had it.

OMG! This is a crazy little town with the best food! Next time we're going to make this our destination and stay at the Inn!

Can't say enough good things about this little gem in Volcano, CA. We were there for a romantic weekend-again! The staff especially stands out for me--friendly, attentive and more than happy to help make your stay wonderful.We've stayed in the Limon room all three times we've visited--because--the tub! It also has direct access to the balcony, which is great for enjoying an evening glass of wine or morning coffee while watching Volcano go by. Bring your earplugs, however, as with all old buildings, there is not much between you and the restaurant noise one floor down. We also find an eyemask to be useful as we are not accustomed to light from street lamps at night.The food is great with a nice selection and specials that really add to the menu. Again--the staff is top notch as well.Overall, you can't go wrong at the Union Inn and Pub!

This is food that feeds your soul. My girlfriends and I visited for a weekend getaway. We ate here for lunch on a whim and loved it so much we came back for dinner. Every dish is perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is lovely, and the gluten free options are exceptional. The vibes were immaculate.

Shhhhh . . . Don't tell anyone HA! This place is awesome!!!!So we had the Abe Burger and garlic fries, pork kimchi tacos & the Salmon. OUT OF THE PARK!You can't go wrong here folks. SERVICE FOODAMBIANCE Great little escape.
