Applied earlier this year. Application process was fairly easy. Based on a technicality over where I lived while pregnant (I received mail at my friends house but was living elsewhere) that disqualified me from getting the apartment that I wanted. The female (already forgot her name) was very insensitive to this and seemed more focused on getting $ instead of actually listening AND comprehending the sensitive situation that I was in. Didn't even want a notarized statement from my friend, who could confirm that I was not living there...which was also confirmed by the home owner that my friend was renting from. She got her money, but still doesn't have any sense. Moved on and relocated to a better city in the Bay Area.

5 STARS! I've lived here for almost two years now. And this is my second review of Vista Verde. With Great neighbors and staff... This apartment complex continues to be a great place to live! I've increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars because of the follow through of the Management. when they say their gunna do something... They do it! You won't get empty promises from Vista Verde!

I've been here for over a year, I'm very unhappy can't wait for my lease to be done. Today is the third day in a row without water from 10am to 6pm. My only day from work I couldn't even take a shower and do my laundry. Don't even want to get started with the kids damaging cars.

3/15/15, another update from the hell hole vista verde, awoke at 745, to , i don't know, pipes being cut below my guest bathroom and banging walls again, water is completely shut off once again, ( cant shower or wash before i leave my house again) went to move my truck to my assigned parking spot, lol, a man with tools has taken that, so best i park in the street again....as many do because of the children that consistently scratch and break items on your vehicle( they have scratched or broken at this time, 480 dollars of paint and tailights, 2500 if i want to get a respray) which is what I'm going to report to my insurance this month, and damn sure have them contact nsr about. Vista verde continues to be asking full price, for the convenience of not being able to rest/shower, or have piece of mind for another month....good job guys. Im sure the BBB will be ecstatic to receive one more report with my name on it.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start! Lived there for 8 long miserable years to save money. The recent manager, Victoria Mesa, not a very nice person. Most apartment manager care about their tenants, not her. She's all about the money, money, money. How much money can they get out of their tenants. Most apartments repair things without charging. They'd rather keep the apartment in good shape and will maintain things for free. Not here. Once my husband was playing with our son, slipped made a small hole in the wall, cost us $150 to fix. We were in shock, but paid it anyway. They do these apartment inspections every 6 months and don't fix anything. Just tell u to change the air filter every 3 months and the cost comes out of your own pocket. The laundry mat is only opened from 8-9, but most of the time they open it around 9. If you see someone that works there and u ask them to open it for u, they'll let u know it's not their job. If you call and complain, you'll find some sort of citation posted on your door. I guess the manager gets mad if you complain so she feel the need to "get even". If you see the manager or any of her minions don't expect them to say hi, good morning, or any other type of greeting. They'll just walk by you like you're invisible. Kids are always outside late running around unsupervised, making all kinds of noise. My car was dinged up three times from the kids throwing things around. If you're Mexican u need not apply. The manager is racist. All she rents out to are mostly Indian people. We recently moved out and I feel like the manager just keeps on harassing us. She keeps calling us or emailing us. SERIOUSLY it's costing us over $1000 to move out of that place but it's money worth spending to get away from that bad vibe place.

Me and my boyfriend had lived here for 2 years. The first year was great, Besides loud children that like to swear and doorbell ditch constantly, and miscellaneous random bugs we would find in our apartment, it wasn't bad. We had lived in worse places. We liked Victoria, the manager. When we needed anything she was always available it was great to have someone that actually cared and did her job. The second year things weren't as great. The children were out of control, damaging property, cars, swearing loudly by our window, It was getting annoying. It felt like when we would tell her about what was going on she got annoyed with us and just stopped caring. One time we were told to call the cops instead of them intervening. Also, there is a specific car that plays loud mariachi music so loud the car alarms go off, there can be very rude tenants living there. We noticed that management came into our apartment when they didn't give us a proper 24 hour notice. We can tell because they locked both locks when we normally just lock one. This had happened several times. Lastly, upon moving out of the complex, they made it difficult to prepare for the final walk through. We moved out a month before, so we weren't living there. She did an inspection and we heard nothing about what to fix or clean before the final inspection. It was odd, so we called the day before the final inspection (because there was only one day in between) just for her to say that she left it on the door of the apartment. WE DON'T LIVE THERE. How were we suppose to get that? We moved out of town, so I had to drive all the way to Manteca to get this piece of paper. So.. because lack of time during the week, and us both having full time jobs, We couldn't do what was asked on the list. So we got suckered into paying for the clean up. I'm disappointed in this place, I use to like living here, but to be treated like this is just wrong. But there is a happy ending, We bought a house. Thank god no more apartment life! I wouldn't recommend this place, maybe a year ago.. but not now. It helps to get a detailed description of what you're getting into. So, I hoped I helped someone out.
