It is right next to my daughter's school, so it is real nice to go there after school sometimes. It has a sandbox, water for the sandbox, 2 play structures for different ages. Swings and then next to it is a field where you can fly a kite or run. It also has a doggy park, which is real nice for dog owners, but the problem is that dog owners love their dogs and forget that a playground is really not a good place for a dog. (keep your dog on a elash and avoid it from going into the playground. I don't want my child to play with aanything a dog pooped or peed on and I don't want my child to be your dog's first or more victim.) Thanks

Beyond irritated and disappointed with the how the LARPD has handled this once beautiful and peaceful park. Apparently, this has become the playground for Valley Montessori school which is located near the park (they actually share a fence). This makes it extremely difficult to bring young children here to play due to the sheer volume of school age children brought over from the Montessori school (approx. 100 this morning). I was fearful for my children's safety as they were close to being knocked down several times. I could barely locate my children due to number of Montessori children! The Montessori children were taunting and laughing at my toddlers for wearing diapers and they were also encouraging my preschoolers to do dangerous things on the equipment as they themselves were not following rules, etc. Supervision you ask? Well 1 teacher was sitting on the picnic bench texting. When more children came over from the school, a few more teachers accompanied them. They stood on the hill and chatted. Since I alone cannot supervise nor protect over 100 children, myself and my family (and our playdate!) were forced to leave. LARPD is unaware of any "shared agreement". I am so bummed. This park is off our list of places to visit in Livermore for sure.
